Hi all some help required
I have a Samsung T200 monitor i picked up to repair (no power)
Opened it up and found someone has already tried to repair it and made a bit of a mess of it (wrong caps a damaged tracks) using Jamicon 85*c caps .
Anyway the help i need is with 2 caps i think are the wrong
C103 = 47uf 25v
C204 = 10uf 50v
C103 is on the primary side
C204 is on the secondary side See pic
I think C204 should be the 47uf 25v as it is in a cluster of 25v caps
and C103 should be the 10uf 50v as... -
PACKARD BELL VISEO 223WSX No Sound
Had one of these come in today with no sound .
Having already replaced all the caps and transformer on the psu previously for a 2 second to black repair i turned my attention to the sound board.
Finding no shorts i checked the solder joints and found none cracked .
Reflowed all the solder joints (see pic ringed in red) and sound is working again.
Just some info on the site in case anyone else encounters this

Ok try this first
Caps you have already done assuming they are back in the right way round we can leave them alone for now .
Mosfets that need testing are circled in green .
Also check secondary output voltages ,circled in blue voltages should be marked on board .
Take a picture of your video board and post it , also the numbers that are stamped on the regulators post those too
Regulators should be tested with your meter set to dc mode 10v

Daft as this may sound this problem can also be caused by a voltage regulator on the video board (notes from an Acer i worked on before same board setup)

Before you do anything else
Did the small cap i have ringed on the picture come in the kit as it looks to have not been changed ?
If not then try replacing it first ,it has most likely dried out as well...Leave a comment:

HI if you look at the picture i have attached ,
i only used 12v pin ,gnd pin and on/off pin but still had lamp brightness adjustment .
Try it this way and if you cant adjust the brightness you will have to connect the adj pin .
I will check my notes to see which one it was

Hi i have redone pic
All components in the yellow area remove
If the 2 caps circled in red are ok dont change them
And you can take 12v supply straight from the pin circled in green
Been a while since i have done this monitor and to the best of my knowledge it is still running and have done several others since.

Chrck the voltages that run from the psu to the inverter board and report findings .
As you say you can see the screen working it is unlikely to be the main board .
