@lapfix's BIOS from Post #261 should works fine. See if there any missing component around the BIOS chip, do verification after programming the chip and re-solder the chip again.

I've done some research. Am I correct in the assumption that I would need a CH341a programmer in order to dump the bios and flash it again?
