For Lenovo T490s NM-B891 Which pin to short to GND?
I have checked all posts and found the schematics just need confirmation as I'm right.
I need to ground PIN 10 of the J9301?? (I will use tweezers...)

These chips usual have QE bit enabled and operates as Quad SPI mode. To check bits it is better to read out Protection bits table first.Leave a comment:

WSON8 NEW Bios Chips READ, ERROR, ETC.
Hi,
I asking for help on some new WSON8 256MB chips. Please share your experience. I faced error on some new chips on read, erase, write with different programmers. These new chips are not exist in any programmers database. (GD25B256D, XM25RH256, W25Q256JV so on.)
I'm using RT809F V.5.0, EZP2023 Pro, CH341A Green
For the exact experience with GD25B256DYIG is RT809F erase the chip under 33sec. This kind of 256MB chip normal erase time is 70-120sec so I think not all the partitions are erased. If I do blank check or reread the buffer says FFFFFF but when I write the correct... -

Please help me how to read out bios chips of 7430?? I have wson8 cable and tried with RT809F, EZP2023+, CH341a Rev 1.7 with no success. All programmer can't detect chips. No connection between chip and programmer but I'm sure cable is okay.
Can you help me what is the workaround? How can I dump without soldering, with cable? I don't want to solder such a good in warranty motherboard.

How did you read out this chip? I have no success with any programmer. I have CH341A, EZP2023+, RT809F and tried with neoprogrammer and as programmer too. Chip not recognized, if I try with W25Q256FV which is the same spec buffer will be empty or corrupted. Cannot read out proper data. Chip is encrypted or is there any workaround to read out?
I tried with special wson8 cable and wired up also.
Please help me!
