I have already looked, I have no shorts, the voltages are good, the battery charges well, the backlit keyboard lights up correctly, but no display, the shift key does not respond, I tried with an external screen, and I tried other rams, for me it probably comes from the bios but I tried many bios here nothing workedComment

if no image keep attach adapter and press pwr button to turn off and pres pwr button again to boot

that's what I did, but same result, I was lucky today to have another identical model laptop with HS processor, so I recovered the 3 eeproms but I didn't display, I no longer have the LEDs flashing but the shift key still does not respond, I suppose the bios of the other laptop were good so the problem does not come from there, so I swapped the two micro controller (KBC34 and STM32), but the result is still the same, yet I have all the voltages, I guess the processor or the graphics card must have a problem thenComment

by zeniusHello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...-

by mikeybassHi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

by Akhlz001Hi,
Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...-

by 417731Hi, I have a problem while updating the bios 1.27.0. After that the display went off & the bios states as Dell Inspiron 3505 in the F2 boot > bios > Device when I plug into a secondary monitor. As I don't have any experience in bios, request you to please help me to flash the Vostro bios as they share the common motherboard (GDI53 LA-K037P).
Model: Dell Vostro 3405

CPU:Ryzen 3500U
Thanks in advance-

by re1nholdHello Guys
I'm currently fixing two different Dell latitudes,
I need a E5550 BIOS - SERVICE TAG is: FSFB262
So far I flashed about 6 BIOS from this forum already,
none worked,
only fan spin ~3s, LCD black, keyboard LED on/off ok,
I tried manual extraction with scripts for ages so to speak. VM is untried yet.
This laptop is not burnt, it seems to just have a corrupted BIOS.
I extra baught ram. This has to work friends.
Do you generate it this way in Windows in CMD?:
Code:E5550A24.exe /writeromfile C:\bios.fd
