Dell G5 15 5500 bios needed

Hello everyone, where can I find a healthy BIOS dump (bin format) for my Dell G5 15 5500 which was corrupted due to a failed flash. Ref: SELEK MLK N18E 19753-1 FJT96$JA BIOS chip: W25Q64JVSIQ Thank you in advance. Best regards.

Sorry I was away only just got chance to try this, still the same result. Power cycling

EDIT: BIOS files from post https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...99#post3573099 work and the laptop boots however fans are running at 100%

I have this Dell G5 15 5500

The ROM chip is MX25L6473F
service tag: 8P4F463
when you push power button caps lock led is on after 3 seconds white light next to the charging port, fans start spinning for 3-4 seconds. then spins down , red light next to charging for 1 second and finally turns off
That was initially the problem

Now with flashing the chip i get only red led next to the power supply

Okay you first said you have a "BIOS issue" describe it in more detail... Is it the same as this one or different symptoms?
Also post your motherboard model so we can see what might work for your machine

peste have mentioned in previous post as Sparo posted. I flashed the chip nothing happened. i see red light next to the power, no spining, no caps locks led on

If you’re using a clip make sure you keep perfect contact during the read... Otherwise just unsolder the chip
Also always make 2 or 3 backup dumps in case something goes wrong. You can never be too safe

The ROM chip is WINBOND 25Q80DV and the Bios file which i read is 1 MB.
i also attach a photo of the BIOS Chip postition

your BIOS version is 1.5.3 so flash this to the chip on the right see if it works (QH128AHIG)

The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

i also tried to read Bios Chip XMC QH128AHIG with RT809H with no success (i get no verification). do you think that the chip might be off?

Wrong chip. On the bottom left of the CMOS battery there are two chips. The right one is the 16MB MAIN BIOS chip. It should read something like MX25L128.
Also describe the issue clearly is it not booting or what?
