I have an Lenovo ideapad 3 15ADA05 with a bios password. I pulled the bin file off the bios chip but I can't seem to find where the password is located to translate it from a hex editor. I can reflash the bios but it removes everything even the product key. I really like to find the password so I can enter it and remove it. I have done this in the past but it's been years since. I can see where it says supervisor password and password in the hex editor but the coding isn't letting me convert it into a password. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Attached FilesPremium supporters get full download access and other benefits.

Thread merged. Please read the rules, the laptop serial number must be posted with every bios request. Read post 1 you can add the DMI from your backup to the new bios using the script.I have an Lenovo ideapad 3 15ADA05 with a bios password. you have everything you need at post #217...
The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..If you have found our forum useful please consider supporting us. Subscribe for a small monthly fee and receive extra benefits including our boardview / schematic archive.

Hi guys,
Please I need to repair this bios.
I commented: The cover does not have the model data, serial number, etc., I do have the backup of the original bios, but it does not give me an image, I have tried creating a bios from the website and it works but the notebook model does not appear , nor the MTM, nor the serial number.
Can the bios be repaired?Attached FilesPremium supporters get full download access and other benefits.

by justin77783Hi. I have this IdeaPad 3-14ADA05 with those lines on screen. (see attached pictures). So far I tried: different LCD - no change. Reflashed different BIOS - no change. Added extra RAM ('cause there is integrated RAM as well, as 1 expansion slot) - no change. Replaced SSD and even managed to install Windows and once even managed to get into Lenovo website, but sometimes those lines appear while only starting to boot into windows. There doesnt seem to be any clear pattern when it happens. The only sure thing is - it does happen every time.
Any ideas?

by PatriarxisHello.
I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14ADA05 that it dosen't turn on.
It takes 0.027A and the power button flashing.
All the voltages on the board are ok. 3.3, 5 etc.
Also is charging the buttery .
What else i can check?05-26-2025, 01:03 AM -
First off, I saw the other thread, but that seems to be a different version (same model though), because I tried all of the linked bioses and none work. They actually cause the laptop to do nothing. At least when I use the bad bios, lights come on. (charging light, power button light, and caps lock light), but no screen.
Another thing is that the bios has a different name (Old thread has "e8cn36ww" and mine is "fqcn31ww") and the BIN in this thread (below) are 8mb, and the CAP file that I get is 16mb (after using innextract 1.9). I don't know how to get the BIN...-
