Bricked Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14ADA05 Need BIOS file for FN+R Crisis recovery

    Model: Lenovo IdeaPad 3 14ADA05 81W0
    S/N: PF2BZS7D

I was having issues with this particular laptop where the NVME SSD would disappear and would not detect unless I took it out and reconnected it, then it would detect for only for a minute then disappear from BIOS. I figured updating the BIOS was worth a try so I booted into my HBCD USB and downloaded the latest BIOS file for that exact model. I ran the executable and everything went smooth, it beeped and then when it restarted, now it won't post, just black screen with fan spinning.

I already have a CH341A programmer on the way from Amazon that will arrive tomorrow but in the meantime, I want to try the FN+R recovery feature these all come with. I need the .Bin file of the original BIOS to put on my USB to revert it back. I'm an IT guy with 16 years of experience repairing laptops and such, but never used a CH341 before so it'll be a learning experience for me.

After you get your CH341A programmer. Attach the original dump file, also before creating a new thread always search for the model you might find some already existing thread.

The BIOS chip on it is a Winbond 25Q64JWSIQ. How do I get a dump file once I connect the CH341A?

I pressed read IC on NeoProgrammer and saved the dump file but it's not letting me attach it here as .bin or .hex? What do I do now?

Thank you! I took the BIOS file and flashed it which brought the laptop back successfully!

Lenovo Legion S5 Gen 8 (14APH8) - Issues with BIOS Flash in Crisis Mode
                        by scailermeerkat0
                        Hello,

My Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 8 was unable to post/boot following a failed BIOS upgrade attempt in Lenovo Vantage. As the upgrade installation assistant was running in Windows, the device blue-screened and has not been able to post since.

I have attempted to restore the device using Crisis Mode by taking the following steps:
                        1. Identified the crisis recovery file expected name to be macn.bin using this guide
                        2. Downloaded the MACN24WW BIOS installation package from Lenovo's website --> Extracted the installation package --> Renamed the ".fd" file to
                        ...

BIOS file (.BIN) for semi-Bricked IdeaPad 3-14ALC6
                        by Fr33man
                        Hello everyone,

I soft BRICKED my Lenovo IdeaPad laptop (black screen with led lights on, responsive keyboard backlight, fans spinning) after messing about with a Github tool called Smokeless. I am now attempting to reflash the bios through USB, but I am not sure if I extracted the correct BIOS ROM file to flash, and I also could not find the correct file name to rename it to (GLCrisis.bin, GLCN.bin, Currom.bin??). In addition to attempting to reflash the Bios with a USB, I have also performed the following activities:
                        *Novo button power on
                        *Disconnected internal battery...

Notice to users of XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76 programmers regarding BIOS backup file size
                        by m1ch43lzm
                        Hi everyone
I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
                        Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76

Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
There's also an extra OTP Secu.R...

Alienware 17 R2 BIOS Recovery Help + BIOS Flash File Request
                        by cepha03
Bought a cheap Alienware 17 R2 that doesn't POST. Once turned on, lights illuminate and goes through a continous boot loop of turning off and repeat. I've tried all the easy remedies (Replace RAM/Ctrl+Esc/Clear CMOS/ Replace CMOS/Formatting USB to FAT importing the .rcv file and holding End upon boot). Seems like the only solution now is to reflash the BIOS chip with a programmer. Problem is, there's two. I've provided pictures of both. I'm unable to discern which one I'm supposed to flash so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has it could I also have the BIOS flash file as...
