Hi everyone,
Lenovo V15-ADA Laptop
Model name: 82C7
SN: PF2BW4BC
MTM: 82C70041LM
BIOS FROM LENOVO WEB PAGE: laptops and netbooks :: lenovo v series laptops :: v15 adacontentdetail - Lenovo Support US
I was updating my laptop's BIOS. In the middle of the process, the screen went black, and unfortunately I restarted the computer. After that, it won't turn on anymore. I've read that it can be recovered if I reflash it. I've tried several methods but haven't been able to get the correct BIOS file. This community (GUIDE-How-to-extract-BIOS-from-Lenovo-BIOS-Update-Package-such-as-ATCN37WW-exe - English Community - LENOVO COMMUNITY) explains how to extract the correct BIOS from the original file on the Lenovo website, but it didn't work for me. Hex files and assembly code aren't my thing.
Finally, I understand that if I get the basic BIOS file and run it from a USB drive, I have the possibility of recovering my laptop, just as mentioned in this guide (I-need-to-recovery-corrupted-BIOS-for-LENOVO-YOGA-500-15IHV - English Community - LENOVO COMMUNITY). One last question: The BIOS file must have an fd, bin, or some special extension to run correctly. Please help me.

Hi All
I have an IdeaPad 3-17ADA05 -
Serial PF206XN8
Model 81W2 -
MTM 81W20056FR
that presented errors that seeme d to indicate onboard RAM issue.
I tried to disable the onboard ram following the instructions here [ solder-desolder resistors] but had no boot
I copied the DMI info to a downloaded Bios Bin as per this link
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...pt#post1214739
and got a boot ,but the system crashes with ACPI error after 5 minutes every time.
Attached is the original Bios Dump and the one that sort of worked
Thanks in advance

for DMI information..
the bios from post # 29 is virgin, use the HxD program (it's free on the internet), enter both bios into the program (your laptop and the virgin one),
select that interval mentioned in both bios, copy the interval in your bios and pass it to the virgin bios (copy - paste)....and that's it...
Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

Does anything needs to be changed in the bios if i disable the onboard ram via the resistors ? I could not be sure of it.

Hello,
I flashed the bios of my lenovo 15ADA05 with the latest bios available on lenovo. Unfortunately, after the installation procedure with continuous sounds, I had a black screen and tried to restart. Then the computer remained with a black screen on reboot and the fan running normally. Impossible to launch the bios. So I dismantled the computer and tried flashing with cha341. I was able to read the current bios and saved it. I tried to rewrite on it with a bios found on bios archive but it doesn't work.
Here is the information to help me get a dmi and a blank bios to remake a bios with a custom dmi:
Ideapad 3 15ADA05
MODEL name: 81w1
SN: PF3NTMCG
MTM: 81W1002GFR
Thanks
