Original problem was slow start and 5 slow flashes of caps lock. Resetting to defaults resulted in not being able to get back to BIOS screens, requiring a reflash of the chip.
I loaded EC and BIOS from a donor board, updated BIOS via network. System was working (did not brick after loading defaults) but still had slow start. Identified ME as likely culprit in slow boot and 5 flash symptom.
I loaded bios file into Intel FIT (version 14.06) and changed Intel ME Binary File parameter to point to the ME RGN file and built a new image. I then burned that outimage.bin file back. 5 flashes is gone, but so is the disk controller. I've done all resets and it will not show up. I don't see where what I did is really any different than the process outlined in the ME Firmware Cleaning Guide, except for the Create Intermediate Files option. So, not sure what happened here. Any possibility of recovery?
I'd like to know what I did wrong here, rather than just upload files and have someone fix it. I can of course upload any files required for analysis.
Appreciate any assistance. Assuming I can get this resolved, I will still be left with a 'HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem', but one thing at a time. Thanks in advance.

Flash Programming Tool is used to backup and flash the bios on a working machine. Modular Flash Image Tool (MFIT) is used to clean the ME firmware. -

@volinakis thanks bro for REGIONS ME . its work and i try to hide a specific GUID from a binary .bin
The idea would be to hide the splash logo and not see it with the "change logo" or with the "phoenix tool" or with the "uefitool".

Re: ME Firmware Cleaning Guide
I checked my BIOS dump with ME analyzer, which is 9.1.37.1002.
I use Intel ME System Tools v9.1 r7 package and FIT, but no matter what I do I will always get an error when opening the BIOS dump in FIT. No idea what I could be doing wrong. Error number 22.

by SMDFleaIf you have to clean the ME firmware on **some microsoft surface models the touchscreen can stop working.
** Some models do not need this fix.
*You should install the latest updates from microsoft, including the driver packs before assuming there is a hardware problem.* - See Post #2
EDIT: If nothing else works try this fix - https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...8&postcount=40
Always check a working dump from the same model using FIT.If the working dump default setting for "Integrated Sensor Hub Supported" is set to "NO"...-

by skynettoHello there.
I have this mainboard (MSI Z590 Gaming edge - MS-7D07 rev 2.1) with these symptoms.
1. SIO_3VA ON
2. ATX_5VSB ON
3. 3VDSW ON
4. Mainboard stucked in Deep_S5 state
Problem:
RSMRST Incative. (Obviosly everything dead)
Tried just for fun to update the BIOS with its Bios flashback function (Push button and USB stick with bios in it).
Main Bios restored succesfully.
When updating Bios all the voltages comes on except PCH which is not needed.
EC Controller: NCT6687D-M

by anluHello, i have an old Toshiba 32W1333DN (sorry, misspelled the headline) TV that had the standby led green/red flashing and no lightup problem, i repaired it by measure the led output as suspect led problem, i measured the LED:s one by one and found one bad led, i replaced the the led-straps and the TV works.
Now i need to update the software because the new rc "RM-L890" does not work and i think maybe it could be an firmware issue?, i have struggled to find it without any success because all of the links where invalid, i contacted Toshiba but they do not support this model... -
by tsitsosHello all. I would like some help on installing a firmware on tv..
4 days ago i changed a channel and the image became complete blue and the tv unresponsive. No matter what i did ( like unplugging the power , press the power button for minutes etc etc nothing helped) Then i had an idea to flash it via usb. The brand is very uncommon (smarttech) so i had hard time finding the right firmware. i ended downloading 2 just in case. I flashed the first one with usb and pressing the power button like 5 times. The installation was successful and tv worked ok with some little problems that right...03-11-2022, 07:32 PM -
by howardc64TV standby light flash once after plug-in AC power. Then silent. No backlight, no LCD image on flash light test, no SPDIF light.
All PSU voltages to main looks good (12v, 20v (label says 18v but is 20), standby voltage) Probing main board shows what appears to be a DCDC converter (MSH6103A can't find datasheet) providing 5v, 3.3v and 1v. 5v present to the standby light power switch board.
These HiSense TVs appears to have lots of firmware corruptions that takes out the main board either through smartTV use or firmware update. Used main board... - Loading...
