Zbook 15 G6 Unlock GD25B256D Gigabit serial flash
Hi,
I'm reaching out to seek help unlocking bios lock on my HP Zbook 15 G6. It has the GD25B256D serial flash chip from Gigabit which is a 32MB chip. Motherboard DAXW2EMBAE0 REV E.
Are there any other chips on the motherboard except from the one clearly marked "BIOS" needed in order to unlock bios?
I attach the GD25B256D dump here.

Once you feel confident you could do the task, next time just do it yourself. However, I would advise you to choose a much cheaper laptop for this purpose, because a lot of things can go wrong.
And to brick such an expensive machine is not a good (in my opinion) idea.
Since you don't know basic things like how many BIOS chips the machine you're working on has, and why there are two instead of one, which one needs to be edited, and why...
Things are a little more complicated than they seem at a first glance.
Don't think that I just edited for a few minutes your file with the tool you mention, and this is something you could easily do yourself. Before that, there are a few things that determine whether the result will be good or not, such as content analysis, comparison, integrity assessment etc., all things that an inexperienced person may miss or not know. Thanks Vesko365. I was afraid that might be the case. I did compare your file against the unlock from the RCUnlocker, and they were different, allthough the RCUnlocker returned successfully as well, I have yet to actually test whether or not it would work. For the record, I'm no even close to being confident to manage what you did. Thanks again for your efforts and time providing a solution to my problem.Comment

Hi everyone,
I'm working on removing an administrative BIOS lock (Supervisor/Admin Password) on a laptop.
The board has three SPI flash chips:
- W25Q64FV (main BIOS)
- W25Q32FV (EC/TPM)
- W25X10CL (configuration)
I was able to read the dump from the W25Q64FV chip, CRC32 = 0x3DE23E27.
The dump contains protection that needs to be removed.
If anyone has a clean or unlocked BIOS dump for W25Q64FV, I’d really appreciate it!

This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.

I'm using TONGFANG "GM7TG7P" model laptop for over 3 years and i'm entering the same bios administrator password everyday. My laptop has Aptio BIOS (American Megatrends, AMI).
But today it's not accepting my password. I'm %100 sure i'm entering the correct password.
I'm trying to reset my bios without success.
I tried :
-I removed the BIOS battery and main battery. Waited for a long time but it didn't work. They already stated in the user manual that the password will not be reset even if the batteries... -
