I use UFPI Programmer.
In this model Without Type C ic laptop also work. -
My UFPI programmer support 128kb.bin not hex 282kb
Maybe your Programer support hex.bin|
Sent board code i check bkup hex or bin file. -

I read and Write also Using UFPI porgrammer.
UFPI programmer simple read bin,Other i see Hex file like 288kb data size.Simple extract using 7zip will extract original bin 128kb.
We need read for CYPD CC5 Series.

Which Programmer you have?
IF you have Svod,Successor then you can you read from battery Terminal SCL,SDA,GND
From read via keyboard connector now old method. -

i buy 10-15 Mec chip for different board.
5 pcs Ec chip inside Password.
10 pcs i unlock success without problem.
in startup error but i fixed via bios modifed.
