That is because it has the same dell OEM configuration as your bios. If you go to the dell support site and view your product spec it has vPro with AMT enabled.

Because the ME firmware isn`t clean, it needs cleaning, if you havn`t already learnt how read the guides https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...post1622422โ€‹

Yes, it's fine, I managed to clean the region, it starts up much faster now. However, I had the choice between two region files (see photo). I didn't know what NPDM and YPDM corresponded to. I took the first one, it works perfectly. I'll upload the clean dump to see.

          Thanks.โ€‹

            Thanks.
The bios at post 12 had NPDM ,check it with MEAnalyzer. If you`re working on a bios that has YPDM choose the YPDM firmware .

            https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/in...ols-2-15/30719

            Power Down Mitigation (PDM):

At CSME v11 LP firmware, make sure to mind the PDM status which is distinguished between YPDM (Yes) and NPDM (No). PDM is some sort of erratum, which is only relevant to 100-series PCH-LP systems. Thus, it is an attribute of every CSME v11.0 - v11.8 firmware which supports 100-series PCH-LP systems. The PDM status of a firmware can be detected by ME Analyzer by loading either your SPI/BIOS image (Flash Descriptor + Engine + BIOS) or an Engine Firmware Recovery image which can be generated via FWUpdate tool parameter "-save recovery.bin".โ€‹

[REQUEST] Dell G3 3579 BIOS Password & AMI Protected Range/BIOS Guard Unlock
                          by zenius
Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Dell 9010 MT BIOS Update Always Fails
                          by mikeybass
Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

                          by Akhlz001
                          Hi,

Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...

                          by jhanra
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…...

                          Dell latitude 5580, motherboard cdp 80 la-e151p

3 amber 3 white blinks. Dell website sais it's problem "bios recovery" and suggested solution "recovery image not found"
                          (from here https://www.dell.com/support/manuals...e7a&lang=en-us)

I try plugging charger while pressing ctrl+esc, machine turns on, nothing and after 20 seconds it gives 3 amber 3 white blinks again.

Since ssd is replaced and had clean install windows, i've...
