Hello, and thanks for this awesome forum! I have few Elitebook 840 G3 laptops, that have Power on passwords, and HP unlocker does not do the trick. Can someone help with these? Thanks!

Hello.
Need bios bin file for 25Q128 JVPQ flash, laptop is HP ELITEBOOK 840 G3
mainboard 6050A2892401-MB-A01
LAPTOP WAS WORKING FINE BUT WHEN I WANT TO INSTALL WINDOWS10 I FOUND ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD, I tried to flash the bios with another difrent bios with different motherboard number . not turn on any more start giving me a white LED light flashing but wont turn off and the caps lock button flashing ,i took that bios back and i tried to put the old bin but same problem,,,,,,,nothing change, same problem remain, try another ram, same problem,
I try other bios bin found on net for ANOTHER DIFFERENT BOARD BUT SAME PROBLEM.

The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.
Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Hi, I have an MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4 board with damaged BIOS and i need a bios dump from a real board, along with MAC, UUID and Serial Number info (eg. a BIOS screenshot and pictures from the board stickers).
I need to reconstruct the bios on my board, based on another bios image form a real board - meaning a bios image containing MAC address, UUID and Serial number. A stock BIOS is not suffiecient, as it is impossible to discover where the MAC, UUID and SerialNumber are stored. Hello,
I have an EliteBook 850 G5. After a Windows update, including a BIOS update, the notebook turns on, but the screen remains black, and the fans spin at high speed—nothing else happens.
I assume the BIOS update failed, so I searched for the BIOS chip.
I found a Winbond chip located between the RAM and the hard drive, which has a size of 32 MB.
However, the BIOS update available on HP's website is only 17 MB in size. I used the update version that was previously installed when the notebook was still working.

It must be a dump from a physical board, as it contains personalized data eg. MAC Address, UUID, Serial no.
