Dell Vostro Vostro 5625 bios

I have a Dell Vostro 5625 which failed during a BIOS update and now doesn't boot. When the power button is pressed, the keyboard lights up and the fan spins, but doesn't get past that! The flashing light codes suggest a RAM issue, but I have tried different RAM to no avail.

I am hoping that I can remove and flash the BIOS to see if that does the trick, and am hoping that someone is kindly able to create a new BIOS image for me please?

I tried to extract the bios from the update file downloaded from the Dell website via the /writeromfile option but it didn't work

It's new bios fomat not old , use Dell PFS Extractor tool

ok, thank you, I extracted the bios file isflash.bin 18564kB, trimmed it in a hex editor at the beginning and at the end to 18384kB, but now I can't understand how to transfer the laptop data from the old bios to the new one, sorry this day am weak.

It's a insyde platform so use insyde_ifd_extract and you'll get the right bios file. Search for text "DTAG" in bin files and transfer it to new bios.
