Hey,
It's my first time trying this.
I have recently got a T495 (S/N: PF-1ZY53R) with a locked BIOS. I managed to desolder the chip and read it, however I can't seem to get the patched one working with the autopatcher.
I would like to do it myself if possible, however I have zero experience. When I flash the patched version, the notebook plays the music and fan keeps going with black screen. It works when flashing the original dump but still has the password obviously.
Info: I have disconnected the internal display (it doesn't work) cable and I connected an external monitor by HDMI. The original BIOS shows up on the external screen.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I've attached both dump files.
Thank you in advance.Attached FilesComment

yep, happens to me too with MX (Macronix) chipsets. I advice you to use Winbond, more resilient to multiple desoldering.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

let me understand: you used a patched bios from another laptop and now if you write back original bios laptop has black screen? Post original bios backup and serial number, as in rules and explain what you did.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
