Hi everyone!
I have a T470 which makes beeps at the startup and they lead to 0285 error (TCG-compliant functionality-related error (might be the TPM initialization failure)).
I have read a bit around and looks I may try to upload a new/modified BIOS: I am attaching the dump of the original one (defective).
Anyone can point me to the right direction on how to move next???

Hey!
#1 -> thanks a lot for the noce job all of you (and especially Maxpower3) are doing. :-)
I happened to have a Thinkpad E590 which is BIOS locked.locked. Laptop have IT8227-256 chip...
Question:
1: can you please xonfirm this method works?
2- if so, can you please confirm I need to short eithernpinn7 or 8 or 9 or 10nof that chip? From a first overlook they do not seem to be connected but, maybe, there is a via on the board. Also these pins shall go to an EC and TPM debug port but I cannot find that port...
Any help is warmly...

NOPE... Unfortunately same behaviour as before: laptop does boot automatically once connected to AC, stays on for 4/5 seconds (fans 1/2 seconds), then turns OFF automatically. DOES NOT reboot. If I try to power-it on manually (power button) it starts, again for 5/6 seconds, then OFF. NO video, NO beeps. On the laptop I have video, ram (1 slot), keyboard, nothing else (NO CMOS, no battery, no ssd).
If I switch back to original BIOS (not patched) everything works normally (but with password). :-(...

Hi Everybody! Until now I have been able to unlock a couple of Thinkpads thanks to this system which I think is quite easy and straight-forward.
Anyway now I came across a P50, and it seems that autopatcher is NOT working: if I patch the BIOS, laptop boots up for 5/6 seconds but then it shuts OFF. NO video screen, NO beep codes.
What I did: dumped the file using a clamp (dumped twice, checked using certutil and generated same hash file so I moved on); patched with autopatched, loaded new BIOS. tried 3 times, same results...
Can it be because of the MACRONIX chip? That is the...

Lenovo Thinkpad T14s Gen 2 BIOS lock - intel 11th gen
Hi! So a friend of mine is willing to sell his T14s Gen 2 (with intel i5-1135G7 processor) but he can unfortunately not remember the BIOS password he put a year ago... :-/
Thinkshield chips says Lenovo MEC1503-EA2 1425C3A ATC-CN on top of it
Thinkenging chip says Lenovo BD4179 131 H69 on top of it
Moterboard is Lenovo HT4B1/HX3B0 NM-D362 Rev: 2.0
Anybody able to point me in the right direction? Or shall he sell it as it is?
