sure ... Is veeery hard to copy hex and use Find function in HxD to find what flag you have to modify ... long hours, indeed ...

You need to change only one value depend on the bios.
The real question is not where is 3C but why 3C
you have to keep comparing to understand the comparison

      It is not so easy

It is maybe easy for you but it is not the case for a newbie like me. I was mislead by HEX value: Firmware performance. I was thinking it has to be changed after that and it didnt work so I have to use hours to find out solution. When you know what to look for then it is easy.

Help me remove the Getag S410 password. I wanted to figure it out and unlock it myself, but all the above files for comparison were deleted.

try. Compare original against modified and you'll figure out.

It seems I did this, but the password remained.
                Thanks, I'll try it now

Yes, I've already done this. The password remains. I compared your file with yours. They are identical.
I flashed your file. The password remains the same.
I have been looking into this issue for a long time. But I still can't understand why this method fails to remove the password.

                  I forgot my Gedac S410 G1 password.
                  The SN is RI203S0689.

What I haven't really understood yet is how I can actually do anything to reset the password in this situation.

Can someone explain to me how the password reset process is carried out?
Which tool do I need for this?

                  Thanks
                  Chris
