Re: Getac S410 gen1 bios password removal
The real question is not where is 3C but why 3C
you have to keep comparing to understand the comparison
It is not so easy

Re: Getac S410 gen1 bios password removal
It is maybe easy for you but it is not the case for a newbie like me. I was mislead by HEX value: Firmware performance. I was thinking it has to be changed after that and it didnt work so I have to use hours to find out solution. When you know what to look for then it is easy.Last edited by RicoPL; 11-08-2023, 02:08 PM.Comment

Help me remove the Getag S410 password. I wanted to figure it out and unlock it myself, but all the above files for comparison were deleted.

It seems I did this, but the password remained.
Thanks, I'll try it now
Yes, I've already done this. The password remains. I compared your file with yours. They are identical.
I flashed your file. The password remains the same.
I have been looking into this issue for a long time. But I still can't understand why this method fails to remove the password.Last edited by bykanovm; 11-26-2023, 07:04 AM.Comment

I forgot my Gedac S410 G1 password.
The SN is RI203S0689.
What I haven't really understood yet is how I can actually do anything to reset the password in this situation.
Can someone explain to me how the password reset process is carried out?
Which tool do I need for this?
Thanks

You need a programmer to read the bios chip. Read BIOS guides, methods, resources and tools thread.

Hey guys,
have a laptop here that has a supervisor Password (dump in Attachements).
Before i write the Serial NR.etc i wanted to say that strangely after flashing with 3 different Bios dumps and one from lenovos site
the laptop works but everytime it wants me to type a supervisor password i never set.
I thought the supervisor password is stuck in the ec bios but no it isn't either because after replacing the ec chip from one of another board it still has the supervisor password.
Anyway i wanted to ask what of the two chips is the ec bios because on the left...-

by mferna14Hi friends., I am working on MacBook Pro A2159 touchbar 2019. The old logic board was liquid spilled so I ordered another logic board from AE. Received it & all worked fine till I got to the Chinese login screen where the login screen password tobe entered. I tried to reset the password but it again gave me options which I do not know about the Apple ID. I formatted the onboard SSD. & wanted to change the startup boot sequence but in order to change it, again the password is needed for that too. Is there a way to get rid of this password?? The seller has not replied back past 2 days, how...05-13-2025, 04:16 PM

by OntarioTLI know this is more for laptop help, but a Lenovo Legion T5-28IMB05 Desktop (Lenovo) - Type 90NC was dropped in my lap and it appears to have a BIOS supervisor password I cannot remove.
I have tried the clear CMOS and pulled the battery with no luck. I'm hoping its in the BIOS and not the Nuvoton NCT6686D.
If someone can look at the BIOS and see if they can help me remove the password I would greatly appreciate it. Or confirm the password is in the Nuvoton which I guess I wont be able to defeat it.
