Hi all, i was wondering if anyone can help me resolve this issue with this macbook, it is 820-3332-a

if i connect the battery to this board while power is connected to the power supply i get a whistling noise buy u7000, if i keep battery connected and reconnect power supply i still have whistling noise by u7000, if i remove power supply from board and battery still connected whistling dissapears, if i keep power supply connected and disconnect battery whistling goes

i have replaced u7000 chip 3 times as i have got donor boards for the same model, L7030 gets warm but i have replaced this already and still same thing

      hi piernov, sorry for delay

diode mode resistance to ground, is giving ppbus_g3h 0.406v and on a place 0.412

post schematic if u have, also write if its a mabook air or mabook pro.

ppbus g3h is supposed to have 8.4 or 12.5 ? if macbook air or macbook 15 most of the time they have 8.4 volt. measure with psu only and see if its ok. also then measure with battery only. what is l7030 ? coil for ppbus g3h ?

Air are 8.5V, Pro are 12.6V. (2 cells vs. 3 cells)
          820-3332 is MBPr 15" 2012

              voltage with battery only ?

also with psu and battery post voltage of q7055
also check c7040 poly caps ... it could be bad

Removing electrical noise introduced by fan
                  by tony359
                  Hi all,

I am working on a sound processor, it tends to overheat so I fitted a fan inside. The fan is connected to the +15V of the PSU via a DC-DC converter based on the LM2596 to reduce the voltage to around 10.5V.

Unfortunately the analogue circuitry is picking up the noise from the fan in two ways:
                  1. The fan is close to the analogue section, the motor itself gets into the outputs so I'll have to move it somewhere else
                  2. Even with the fan running outside of the case, there is still some noise which is clearly going back to the processor via power line....

Onkyo TX-SR805 noise in one channel
                  by MegaZAC
Surprisingly enough, this receiver doesn't have the DSP chip issue. The HDMI board does not get hot, and sound over HDMI works fine.

Regardless of the input, the right channel has noise that is clearly noticeable even on average volume level. The only cases when there's no noise is when VCR input is selected (some tracks on the board are damaged, maybe that's why), or if HDMI input is selected but nothing plugged into it. In all other cases, even when no input is connected I still have the noise.

There's some logic behind it. As soon as I select an input I get only left...

Trying to Save - Samsung 65" The Frame (QN65LS03B) with no signs of life (One Connect Box)
                  by KYBOSH
I picked this one up today.
Previous owner says no signs of life.
TV looks immaculate and its a 2022 model year so I thought maybe the one connect cable was damaged.
Got it home and put it on the Kill-A-Watt power meter and it was completely dead.

The TV model is QN65LS03BAFXZA - version: CB06
                  The One Connect Box BN44-01066D / BN96-54788Q / BN39-02470A.

I immediately remembered EazyBone's Samsung The Frame TV no power....One Connect thread and am preparing myself to tear the One Connect open and hunt for dead parts.

                  Will keep you all...

Philips HTS8000 home cinema noise problem
                  by courtcircuit
                  Hello

I have since a long time a Philips HTS8010S/01 which has been old but was doing the job.

Since a few days, it starts by making a weird "static" nois when switches on for a few seconds to a minute and then works like a charm.
Noise loudly outputs from the 3 channels, even if no signal is sent by the controler.DVD to the subwoofer/amp unit.

I was thinking of a soldering that was starting to be damaged and that was only doing the job after a few seconds of heating, most probbaly on the power board
                  Removed each of tyhe boards
                  ...

Samsung 55HU8590 UE55HU8590 maybe one connect box ocb
                  by An-klamm
                  Hello!

I have a TV that I can't get any further with.
It is a Samsung UE 55HU8590 with one connect box.
When I turn on the TV without the one connect box, the animation on the TV tells me to connect the ocb.
As soon as I connect it, the TV restarts (panel goes dark) and the TV tries to start continuously (relay on the SMPS clicks about every 3 seconds).
Since the TV works without ocb, I assume that it can't be the PSU?!
I have measured all contacts of the one connect cable against GND on the ocb board and there is no short circuit anywhere.
                  Is there...
