do not solder PR9146 back on the board until you fix the CPU_VR_ON signal. Since there is no CPU_VR_ON, it seems the PCH is faulty. that is not good. to make sure, reprogram the Bios and the EC using the original dump while PR9146 is removed.

I will caspian. But can I know what signals power on the PCH. In order for the PCH to be able to generate the CPU_VR_ON?

I will get back soon. And tell the result of the reprogramming.

that is a good idea. Before reprogramming, make sure all the power rails connected to PCH are present. Those power rails are the ones mentioned in page3-13 of the schematics except CPU_Core and VGA rails. If one of the rails is missing, the PCH will not work.

I done reprogramming and nothing new..
I will check the rails as soon as I get back.

Where did you get the bios and ec dumps,can you post them here .

If you go through this post and still not have the signal then it is a cpu issue.
I could not get it to work. And am believing the CPU was faulty.
