I have been wondering this for ages, what is a good 3rd party product/raw material, that can be used to replace those pesky rubber feet, that invariably become dislodged from their glued moorings on laptops?
Sure, you can buy them on eBay, if you want to pay upwards of, or over: $5/pad, averaging about $15-20 or more for all of them. YIKES!!!!
What do you do for replacements, any ideas?
Is there maybe a place you have found a suitably thick and malleable raw sheet of natural rubber that you buy, where you can cut your own from it??
As for glue, I used to wonder on this too, as std. rubber cement doesn't work so well. But then I found 3M's spray adhesive products... AMAZING!!!! So I think this should be good. Thoughts?
Thanks!!!!
