Thanks Varon23,
After replacing the MEC1515, the laptop will go into "Manufacturing mode Active"
Problem is: Laptop does not save the Service Tag. After saving and restarting laptop the service tag remains empty, moreover the cooling fan is spinning at full capacity (bios problem?)
Bios attached,
TAG service:6QTYKG3
model: Dell 7506 2 IN 1

Does anyone have info how to obtain the firmware for MEC1515-NB (Let's suppose programming is possible) and which size is it?I don't provide help for people using CH341A and a clip.Comment

So if I understand correctly, if the chip goes into crisis recovery, it should pull the firmware from the main bios? Although I'm not sure if 14XX have the same principle as 15XX, the datasheet for 1515 seems impossible to find.I don't provide help for people using CH341A and a clip.Comment

.A blank chip wouldn`t boot without the boot ROM

I had a board with burnt 1.8V power chip, i replaced it with SY8388RHC(Kdxxx marking ), and now i have the voltage all across the board , but MCE1515 is getting hot ,laptop dead, soemtimes orange light for charging goes on , so there is no repair? 20V probably went directly to him?

by cubytusHi to all,
I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.
I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.
Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...1 Photo01-10-2024, 01:26 AM -
by TrueSword88Hi all.
I have a Kogan 65' LCD Panel with a thin blue vertical line (top to bottom) on left hand side of panel.
The line just happens to coincide with the end of COF and start of the next COF (attached).
The line is permanent no matter what I've tried. I've tried pressure testing the panel (top to bottom) and all over, I didn't notice any difference with the line, either temporary or semi-permanent.
Also tried unplugging all flex cables, cleaned with isopropyl then re-inserting to no avail - line remains.
Hoping to fix... -
by FALKLANHowdy everyone! I hope all is well where ever you are!
I'm attempting to integrate a couple of LED pods into an automotive reverse lamp circuit. The problem being, while the vehicle is running there is a 8.5v current present on the reverse lamp power wire. Needless to say is that all LED pods and lights dimly illuminate while the 8.5v is present, so the LEDs are always powered on while the vehicle is running. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the voltage changes to 12 volts.
I am uncertain how to convert this line into a switched 12v output line for the LED pods.... -
by mindoverflowhello,
there is an asus gtx1650 which displays fine in windows but if i run a benchmark test it displays artifacts and the driver crashes after a second or two.
I changed pads and thermal paste.
I run mats test but it is reporting 0 errors.
I then tried to run the mods version 400.271_1650 test, it first ran and stopped with a 'breakpoints limit reached after 5 retries' error and the fans went full speed.
After a reboot, I tried to run the test again, but now the test fails and says "ERROR: Couldn't clear GPU's interrupt...02-09-2022, 03:22 PM -
by gizmo1990I'm trying to fix this Canopus converter so that I can convert lots of old VHS cassettes. The problem is that it turns on for a split (and I mean split!) second, the fan jerks and then.. nothing. I've checked the power brick works. I've opened up the converter itself and been testing for shorts.
The image attached shows the on/off switch (which I've checked works) to the left of the yellow socket. Below the yellow socket is a green block marked 26 with a strange symbol at the front. Putting my probes either end of this block, on the silver parts, gives an open short... - Loading...
