Hi to all,
I was given this TV, an entry-level 4K 50" set. Some have criticized its lack of contrast and relatively poor colour rendering, but for my needs, it's very decent.
I reset everything to factory settings, but this line keeps on fading in and out when watching a streaming channel from the Tizen firmware. Interestingly, it only happens when TV is warm, after about 1h45 of it being turned on.
Watching a movie from an external source doesn't trigger the line as easily (needs 2 hours), and from a normal viewing distance, is hardly noticeable. It...

Re: Toshiba 32L1350UD
An update: turns out the board was mismatched. My mistake as I didn't pay attention to get the exact same number.
New board appears to bw working fine, now waiting for the remote control to come in, since most functions cannot be accessed without it.

Does Toshiba usually answers questions when a replacement part is replaced by a non-professional? There's no 32L1350UD unfortunatelyLast edited by cubytus; 04-12-2021, 08:15 PM.

Re: Toshiba 32L1350UD
That's a tough one as there are two white stickers, plus the PCB:
The original reads: 461C5Y51L92 Rev:1D RM32T
The replacement reads: 461C5Y51L81 Rev:1B RM39T
The other white sticker reads, on the original PCB:
431C5Y51L92 REV:1D
On the replacement:
431C5Y51L81 REV:1B
Both PCB have the same serigraphied number:
SRI32T VTV-L32615 REV:1A
Not strictly identical, but many mass-produced devices do vary slightly from one batch to another…

Re: Toshiba 32L1350UD
Quick reply: new board arrived, now I get the green light when plugged in, LED backight turns on, is properly detected by a computer through VGA input, but image stays black. Nothing is displayed. The only difference is the old board had a half-size LVDS plug, the new one a full-width one.
Advice?

Re: Toshiba 32L1350UD
So, I guess OP finally repaired his TV? I have the exact same model and symptoms only I couldn't test the LED strips as I've got no PSU able to push 20V.
