To reconfirm your PS5 BIOS file, use the PS5 Nor Modifier to obtain details like the MAC address and serial number. Then, obtain another BIOS file, whether digital or on disc, and place it in the PS5 Nor Modifier. Take note of the data serial number and use a hex editor to modify the new BIOS file. It's preferable if the new BIOS file is the same model as your own.
In the hex editor, use your main BIOS file as the source to edit the new BIOS file.

        Insert:ThumbnailSmallMediumLargeFullsizeRemove
        Sc

Then, use the PS5 Nor Modifier to verify if the serial number and MAC address have changed. Finally, choose the model and edition to generate.

I've flashed a CFI-1016A, now PS5 boot but it won't to update with error su-101217-2, I've seen it has no wifi MAC Address.
            What can I do?

hello all. I've tried many different bios files for my 1015A disk edition, edm010. to no success. the most recent one i used another IC from a 1015A and used that NOR modifier to change serial..making sure i chose 1015A and DISK. console turns on and sometimes takes the disk and copies it, then it wont accept a disk at all... im really lost at this point, this seems relatively easy, but i must be missing something... I'd like to be able to use my original BIOs file and just fix whatever error is there, but i've no clue. any help would be GREATLY appreciated

If your PS5 ist starting to the home menue and the disc drive is able to accept and copy PS5 discs, the data itself of the NOR is ok. You wouldn't get to this point if the NOR data is not ok.
What is exactly the problem and what is the error message from the disc drive?
If your disc drive is accepting disc but have trouble to read it and shows the error "Can't recognize...", the laser is mostly done.

Could someone help me out looking for a 1115B or this one to be fixed? I tried a 1116A no luck on it. Turned into a no power no beeps. I reflashed to this but still 3 beeps

                  Thank you!

I had a similar issue where the wifi MAC was not shown, but BT worked. After replacing the southbridge the wifi MAC was shown again.
