    Another Sacon FZ victim ...!

    Hey...

So I got a new graphics card just to go with the time... my old Axle GeForce 8600GT has served me well for 3 years and 3 months.. but it wouldn't cut it. Needed more performance, so I got me a bargain: a barely used Radeon 4850 from a friend for EUR 50.

I was wanting to use the old GT in a seondary PC. So I wanted to renew the cooling paste. Unscrewed the heatsink and there she was:

Gonna replace it with a ruby YXG 1500uF

    cheers!

    Up and running again

The Ruby didn't fit so I had to use a... ahem.. TAYEH 1200uF...

Agreed. Tayeh aren't much better than sacon. Replace them with some ruby MBZ

The 6.3v 1500uF MBZ has higher ESR and lower Ripple than the FZ.
The 10v 1500uF MBZ are too tall.
The 6.3v 1500uF MCZ at 10x12.5mm is best choice.

Well I know TAYEH aren't good at all.

However I do not have any money right now and it was the only cap that's fitting. All my rubies are too tall

However I'll get some new caps soon (getting me money on November 1st :P)

                Cheers!
