    Your favourite LED colour?

My favourite LED colour is blue.
Replacing the red Power LED in a game console (one of them was a Nintendo GameCube) with a blue one makes the console look great.

I went with Blue. Even though Green is usually my favourite colour, Blue lights make equipment look more modern.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Innovative, eye catching rainbow 3mm LEDs that contain an inbuilt IC that causes the LED to cycle through the red, green and blue elements, individually and then in combination. Colour cycles every 33 seconds.

Red is too ordinary and has been done to death for power on indicators blue is my choice too.
Elements of the past and the future combining to make something not quite as good as either.

                  Re: Your favourite LED colour?

Depends on where it will be used. In general, I really like the light that blue LEDs produce. However, I do find it a bit tacky on some electronics where red or green would seem like a better choice.
Also depends if the LED has clear lens or not. If not clear, green looks better.
I still voted for blue, though.

Anything but blue if using clear = glare and hard to focus on and make my eye to have eye strain. If it is milky and merely glowing softly, OK.

Blue is rape on the eyes from any distance.
I'm tied between red, green or yellow. It really depends on the application.

Got this projector which has a problem with a lack of blue. Menu text is very yellow... expecting white. If I input a signal from a test disc via hdmi, a red screen image shows a uniform red as expect. Green similar while the blue does show but with non-uniformity. Looked at the in-polarizers. They are all good and clean. Running the projector to expose the light area in the prism block, shows each color well represented, all looking about the same intensity from the naked eye. Looking at the prism block itself and sending a light source back into the "out port", the individual...
