While reinstalling hardware on my system I ran a test to see if my BFG Ageia PhysX card was working and the test kept timing out.
After reinstalling the driver (yes, the system was detecting the card as present) I pulled the card out and found this:



Damn.
Looks like the cheap fan failed and the heat actually deformed part of the fan.
Did these cards impliment any kind of thermal protection or is it cooked?
I would put the card back in with a different fan on top but I can't lose the PCI slot next to it and thus I can't test it without things getting messy.
