Optiplex 7070 with absolute greyed out
located the 16 pin Winbond, cannot locate any other flash chip.
Assuming its on the SMSC SCH5555V-NU (cant find data sheet) (cant find board schematics).
Hoping someone could point me in the right direction so I can upload dumps for cleaning.
Thanks.

1.8 ohms from pin 8 to the right set of resistor pads (they are connected by a trace).
7.10 M ohms on both pads on the left set of resistor pads (red to pin 8, black to resistor pads only).
OL when testing the left set of resistor pads to each other.
Thank you for your help....1 Photo

HP EliteBook 845 G8 (need resistor values by EC chip please)
Hello, I have an EliteBook 845 G8 motherboard sitting here. Customer knocked of 2 resistors by the EC chip. I cannot find schematics, board view or anything related to ID these 2 resistors.
If someone has this board, could you please tell me the values of these 2 resistors?
I hate to see this board be unusable due to something so minor....
Thanks...1 Photo

Working on gl702vs has BIOS 8mb and 64mb PCH chip?
Working on gl702vs has BIOS 8mb and 64mb PCH chip.
Mainly I want to know about the PCH BIOS chip. Is this something that is constantly written and erased? If so, I think it maybe a source of my failure. I cant seem to key in the correct words in google to get an answer. Claim was it worked until Nvidia driver installed. In my possession its just black screen and fast fan. Voltages seem to be right and I did not detect shorts. Leaning to BIOS corruption. Then I noticed the PCH had is own little BIOS chip.

Re: LG 27GL63T-B completely dead
Same board, found a shorted cap beside the audio jack. Removed jack, short gone and 3.3 going to cap now. Found it to be the LED was shorted inside the jack. Still not getting LED light to power button. Going to continue search.

Re: Ic 1285a replacement
hello, I am in the same situation. I have the tps 1285a and can only get the tps 1285b. Are they the same? We all come across asus ROG laptops? If so, was the overheating a give away?
