read my post above.. your PSU didnt give 18V_12V high on pins 3 4 5 6..
take yours PSU out on the table and run it as stand alone... from 12V with R2K !w JUMBER IT TO ps_on:: ps_oN WILL TAKE THE CURRENTS IT NEED 3.3V and it should produce other pins 18_12V high.. .

Be carfull.. you should know exactly the pins of AU_12V and PW_18V_12V on PSU socket

on the underside of usb2 socket there are 9 contacts
    two rows CN112
    5 and 4
to the right of the black internet connection CN107
theres no voltage on any of these pins
    see jpg
pins 3-6 i dont see any change in 12v it measures 12,4v
where does the 18v come from?

BTW . let bring things in correct way.. this is yours Service manual.. on page 48. we can see the system power on the MB socket will be.

    STB will be only 12V on pin 7 & 8 =AU 12V ( this remain 12V )
after the eeprom start script load will send the signal PS_ON from PIN 13.
then on PSU PFC go high and should produce 12V high 18V-12 inter MB socket on Pins 3/4/5/6 = PW_18V_12V.

PS_ON you said you have... so check the pins 3-6 on MB if they are high >12V. if not PSU problem. and this why no Panel VCC 12V on T-CON

this is wrong way for test.. because this 3.3V will return back to MB via PS_ON wire while the TV in sleep hope the MB didnt toasted..
so tell us which voltage you have on the MB. u said optic had 5V so this mean USB could have too.. u measure on the top side..and remark it on your early photo so we can understand where are the fault at MB could be.

a- panel complete disconnect from T-CON ( by disconnect ribbon )
    b- messure 12V on T-CON
c- remove WIFI module from TV. or bluetooth . check if USB1 come high 5V
d- check after warm parts after you turn on the tv on MB..
    im sorry
i made a mistake earlier when i measured for voltage on the usb socket
    there is no voltage .
i was measuring on the wifi socket
measuring voltages on the underside of the main board
    i made a mistake

i will try what you said but :
audio optic has 5v but is NOT lit red
i have no 12v on tcon
i will remove ribbon and wifi and see if 3.3v on usb1 increases to 5v
all the chips on MB are cold
    i will post reply

interesting .ive never heard of half boot
the opto port is not lit but does have 5v on it
    usb1(blue)has 3.3v on it
usb2 has no voltage on it

the first cct i found was tmp17,7 e ly which is similar
.but i later found the correct cct tmp 17.9 cct

    (in my post number 10)
is the loader you kindly posted the same for 17.9?

on one of the pins when remote button is pressed the voltage drops to 2.9v
this tells me that the remote reciever is ok
from yours confirmation above... and you have PS_on. then could be MB at half boot... did you messure any USB post had 5V? did the optical audio port lit red?
if one above are correct... i would suggust you to start with firmware downgrade
    with upgrade_loader 17.june.2019

Philips 50PUS6503 - dead panel? Picture
    by Rubenlily
    Hey,

I gave up on my last TV and got a new one to try.

Only vertical lines. Sound is OK. Screen is black with a few white lines until I change channel, then these colors gradually starts filling up the screen.

Is this fixable in any way or should I just give up on this one too?...

How can I be sure that my EC chip is dead?
    by double_DD
    Hi all,

As the title suggests, how can I be sure that my EC chip is really dead?

I've recently gotten into this hobby of laptop repairs, and have successfully brought back to life a couple with some easy fixes, mostly shorted caps.

Now I'm working on HP Probook 455 G8, that had some "devil" run around on 3V line, burning a bunch of stuff. Luckily I have a dead 455G7 (for spare parts) so I managed to fix it (swapped burned parts) to a point that it will charge (both on barrel jack and usb-c), but it doesn't want to turn on. There is a 3V3 on a keyboard...

Philips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo
    by G33RT
Philips 8200 series 65PUS8204/12 stuck at Philips Logo, it does not reboot it just stays on the logo.

It does power up when pressing the power button.

I already try the power button while plugin the plug with no result.
Also put the latest firmware autorun-TPM191E_R.001.004.100.000.upg on a MBR/FAT32 USB stick at USB port2 with no result either.

Could this be an PSU or eMMC issue ?

PHILIPS 40PFL7007 TV DEAD. D501 testing SHORT on DMM
    by vikivng
Hi guys pls can someone help with this set..
    Tv doesnt not power on.
    No standby light.
There is a burn mark by the leg of D501 diode.
The diode tests short in both directions.
I have been reading this usually means the diode is faulty? As normally would be open.
I have not yet taken voltages since this is obviously short I would like to replace it.
Can someone help me with a substitute for this diode since it seems not to be the standard type?...
