OK, I have the FW.zip file.
Which file do I need to flash and how do I do it?
Is there a YouTube video you can recommend?

its better to flash the bootloader first then the main firmware

extract the zip and put all file you have on USB stick formatted FAT ot FAT32 the usb stick will be better with max 1GB . insert the stick in tv press P+ or ok on RC and turn on the set.. you can see the USB stick led indicator will blinking... give time for it... after it finish flashing and every things went ok.. the TV will restart and initial it self

                Last question:
How does the BIOS/SW become corrupted in the first place?

the Main boards design are early one from vestel where they missed up with so many parts where now at the new design are to much less parts. beside the quality of some brand parts of NAND RAM EEPROM developed in good way... SOME BRAND NOT ALL... as we experience many become more bad than before.

                    Good fix indeed.
Now you should take the Voltage readings as reference for future repair.

Sharp Aquos Lc-80LE757U flashing Sharp on screen when plugged in
                        by sefoster
I have a Sharp Aquos LC-80LE757U that randomly made a loud popping noise when when watching TV one day. We found that the fuse blew and the thermistor. We ended up replacing the entire power supply board and have also replaced the TCON board. Now as soon as I plug the TV in it lights up and has the Sharp logo flashing on and off of the screen. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the TCON board to the main board I get the 2 long 5 short error code. Any ideas on where to go from here? We've tried resetting it but nothing has worked. If we plug it in and let it cycle through the flashing of the Sharp...

SHARP LC-60LE640X display flashing white noise patches and totally dropping out randomly
                        by dmcabs
                        Hey guys,

I have a SHARP LC-60LE640X TV that has suddenly developed an intermittent fault of flashing white noise patches (appears like an Analog tuner off signal) and then totally dropping out.
This model I believe is also known as LC-60LE600U or LC-60LE640U in other regions.

FYI, a long time ago I was a component level repair tech for all consumer electronics and IT equipment.
I'm a bit rusty but still have ability to dig right down.

I measured all power supply lines and checked them for AC ripple voltage. Noting any lines that exceeded about...

sharp lc-65ub30u plays but screen is flashing on and off
                        by JunkmanJimbo
Hey guys! It has been awhile since I've been on here. I hope everyone is doing well. I just picked up this Sharp lc-65ub30u. It plays but the screen is flashing on and off. Other than that i seems to be a great tv. Any ideas what the problem might be? I haven't pulled the back off yet. I thought I would get some opinions first. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
                        by STKR123
As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

Sharp (Hisense) LC-55p6050u - Flashing/dimming row of pixels
                        by DrvLikHell
Hello again! I have come back for some wisdom and hopefully for some guidance with this problem I'm having. The TV is a 4k 55" Sharp LC-55p6050u and the problem is every other line of the bottom 32 lines flickers out, comes mostly back, then flickers out again, and repeats this continually. The lines on the bottom right of the screen go out completely while the lines on the bottom left are affected so slightly that it's almost impossible to see it. There is a gradual gradient from appearing almost perfectly fine on the bottom left, to an obvious problem on the bottom right.

                        The...
