Re: Sharp LC40LE531E Red/Green flashing LED

I disconnected the T-Con board and power on but there was no change. The LED arrays did not light (they remained at approx 10.5V)

Man--- i wrote at my post #23 to disconnect the screen ( panel ) from T-CON ( ribbon cable are the 2 flat one connected between T-CON and panel )... also the T-CON should be stay in place and it connected to the LED inverter and to the main boards via 2 LVDS cable

BTW. the LVDS cable are not plugged good at the main boards... you should let them in place.

              Please forgive my ignorance.

When you said to disconnect the T-Con board, I assumed that was disconnecting it from the digital and inverter boards.

Do you want me to reconnect these connectors and disconnect the lower ribbon cables?

EDIT: I have reseated the T-Con connectors on the logic board.
I disconnected the ribbon cables from the bottom of the TCon board.

No change going from standby to On

Re: Sharp LC40LE531E Red/Green flashing LED

i think your issue fault at firmware bootloader section.. as your main boards Vestel 17Mb70.

you need to know which type of panel you have ... in case its LG panel.. then use this file.. extract the zip and put all 3 file
                  1- mb60_en.bin
                  2- mboot.bin
                  3- usb_auto_update_T4.txt
on USB stick formatted fat32 better stick not bigger than 2Gb , insert the stick at tv and try first press P+ on the remote ...keep pressing then turn on the set.. if P+ didn't work then try press OK on RC

okay thanks... forget my bootloader file... yours set bootloader 100% okay...
                          you have BGA issue

take the mainboards out side and heat it very well with hot air gun specially under side where the black heatsink covered cpu and other 2 chips. leave it cool down and then put it in place

                          EDIT:

it could be main firmware too... i have many with LG panel driver ( medion sets) either modified firmware too and autorun.sh

at end here are documentation service manual and schematic to this boards.

for record.. there are procedure using UART to know where are the BGA exactly as this set Linux and we can communicated with it via UART. USB TTL 5.V and the UART pins are at the scart sockets
                            Scart Pin 10 - RX
                            Scart Pin 12 - TX
                            Scart Pin 14 - GND

                            terminal setting
                            Baud-Rate:115200
                            Bits: 8
                            Stop-Bits : 1
                            Parity : None
                            Handshake: No

So at this point the ENA (BL-ON) is still staying at <1V, correct?

I removed the main digital board and heated the large BGA chips for a few minutes - then let them cool and reassembled.

I now only have the red standby and it will not turn on as it did before...

Have I fully broken it now?

no you didnt... the BGA still there.. do it again and search for firmware for yours mainboards 17MB70-5P with samsung panel driver..

by the way yesterday i did extract the bootloader i posted before its dosnt contained any driver... the driver of panel and audio and video are located at main firmware which you need to search for... so its safe if you flash the bootloader i attached before.

I have a Sharp Aquos LC-80LE757U that randomly made a loud popping noise when when watching TV one day. We found that the fuse blew and the thermistor. We ended up replacing the entire power supply board and have also replaced the TCON board. Now as soon as I plug the TV in it lights up and has the Sharp logo flashing on and off of the screen. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the TCON board to the main board I get the 2 long 5 short error code. Any ideas on where to go from here? We've tried resetting it but nothing has worked. If we plug it in and let it cycle through the flashing of the Sharp...

                                            Hi everyone,

Sorry for the person who’s going to read all this !
I'm on a Nintendo Switch Lite, motherboard HDH-CPU-02.

While replacing the left joystick, I had to remove the motherboard to access the connector underneath. When I lifted the LCD connector latch, it broke (the plastic had become brittle over time), so I replaced the entire connector.

During the desoldering of the LCD connector using hot air, three small components located just below the connector (likely 0402 capacitors) came off and remained stuck to the bottom of the...

SHARP LC-60LE640X display flashing white noise patches and totally dropping out randomly

                                            Hey guys,

I have a SHARP LC-60LE640X TV that has suddenly developed an intermittent fault of flashing white noise patches (appears like an Analog tuner off signal) and then totally dropping out.
This model I believe is also known as LC-60LE600U or LC-60LE640U in other regions.

FYI, a long time ago I was a component level repair tech for all consumer electronics and IT equipment.
I'm a bit rusty but still have ability to dig right down.

I measured all power supply lines and checked them for AC ripple voltage. Noting any lines that exceeded about...

Hey guys! It has been awhile since I've been on here. I hope everyone is doing well. I just picked up this Sharp lc-65ub30u. It plays but the screen is flashing on and off. Other than that i seems to be a great tv. Any ideas what the problem might be? I haven't pulled the back off yet. I thought I would get some opinions first. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
                                            by STKR123
As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...
