Sharp LC40LE831E Picture Off and On

    Sharp LC40LE831E Picture Off and On

    Have a Sharp LC40LE831E that displays a image flickers then cuts out then displays then cuts out, all the while the backlights look like they're still on

    Not able to do any troubleshooting as of yet, as i'm not home to do it.

    Any suggestions on troubleshooting or if anybody knows the issue

    Video is almost short, possible a problem with backilght. Another typical problem is the KIA4?? regulator on the PSU. TV model is maybe LC-40LE813E?

      So if you look at the back of the TV (back cover removed), do you see the backlights stay on while the video images disappear?
      Do you see any front panel indicator lights blinking code?
