Re: Sony KLV32U300A power on/off with 2 times blinking led
I just lift a leg and check out of circuit, you can just clip a leg if accessible and if it's ok just solder the leg back together.Quit because THIS SITE LETS A ROGUE MEMBER TYPE ANY GARBAGE HE PLEASES AND THE POWERS THAT BE NEVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SO HE NEVER QUITS. THEN YOU GET A PENALTY FOR RESPONDING TO HIS ATTACKS. BEEN GOING ON FOR WAY TOO LONG. DONE SUPPORTING A SITE THAT ALLOWS THIS BS. -

We need good clear pictures of the backside of the TV showing all the boards, and pictures of each board so we can see what we are dealing with.Never stop learning

As you can see the pins are labeled with name for each pin so you must put down the connector pin name and follow by the Voltage reading for each pin so we can easily see whit it has and does not have.
What is the designator of the Zener diode in question?
I attached the schematic of ADP-154AF power supply for the 32"Last edited by budm; 06-24-2020, 12:21 AM.Never stop learning

Re: Sony KLV32U300A power on/off with 2 times blinking led
That diode ZD131 is part of protection circuit that will shut down the power supply if it detects fault on +15, +24, and PWR_30 supply lines.
That Zener will not conduct until output of IC5 pin 7 goes high above 5.6V for the Zener to conduct which then will cause SCR151 to turn on and shutdown the power supply, you can look at the schematic to see how it works.
I did not error blinking codes in t he service manual.
Right now you need to make Voltage testing on the connectors I requested.Last edited by budm; 06-24-2020, 02:43 AM.Never stop learning

by NolesFanI know the 6 blinks are a backlighting issue, but when I pulled off the back cover and turn it on, the is a white flash from with the panel then I hear what sounds like a relay trip and the TV goes into the 6 blinking light code. Before I pull all the electronics off and checking the individual strips, there is a on the power board, a harness with 4 wires that run thru the panel, which are what I believe are the LED lines, but Im not a tech so no clue. Wires read OUT 1 + & - and OUT 2 + & - My first inclination was to remove the power board and use my LED tester and go to each + &...

by androriparaHello everyone,
i am trying to repair a Sony KDL-55HX820 led TV which is throwing error code 4 (standby led flashing four times).
I followed the troubleshooting flowchart at page 69, and between pin1 and pin7 of CN6002 i am reading 1.91V so i guess i can rule out the B Board as the culprit.
Before ordering new G* Boards (by the way, should i change both? it is not specified in the manual) i wanted to try and do more advanced troubleshooting since i've read in other threads people resolving their problems on the 46/55 HX 820/823/825 models by replacing the Samsung led... -
