Sony Oled 4 or 6 blinking red lights

I started a thread about a year ago , just wondering if anyone has figured out how to fix one of these issues. Xbr65a9f , xbr65a8f or xbr65a1e

some of these will work for a minute then just turn off , the one thing they have in common mostly is a thin line on the screen

Unfortunately the problem seems to be panel problems and Sony will only cover it during the one year warranty. Not good for business as most of my customers swore they will never buy a Sony again. It's a great picture in most cases but that vertical line is so annoying it just makes you want to kill the CEO of Sony for spewing out this overpriced crap.

It looks like these OLED panels are LG panels.

Yes these are Lg panels , but Sony uses their own boards and firmware. I was just hoping that someone somewhere had figured a fix for the 4 or 6 blinking light issue

When the Main board or T-Con board is replaced, or if you disconnect an LVDS cable and power up the TV, you will get no video on the screen.
The only indicator you have to go by is the front panel LED.
The TV may require a software download to re-establish communications between the two boards and also to the LCD panel.

according to the flashes: 4 flashes indicate the LD/BCM board..... 6 flashes indicate the panel backlights.... both are linked to the LD board so id say that is the best place to hone in on first. Second would be the power supply board, third would be the main board and then finally the lcd panel itself.

my information comes directly from the ops' model listed in the discription. not quite sure what you mean?

my apolgies...went back and looked at the source material and it indictaes that this troubleshooting is for led lcd.

on another note....the service manual for the model listed indicates the most likely board for the 4 flash is the tcon (panel module) and the most likely for the 6 flash is the g* board. with the stationary line there, it indicates the most likely board being the b* board which happens to be the 2nd most likely board for the 6 flash led. the second most likely issue for a 4 flash is the oled panel itself.

i source through various sources...manualslib, eservicemanuals,pt-electronica.... these happened to come from a friend of mine via son asp

This table looks more applicable to LCD panels, not OLED?
