Okay, check the capacitors with ESR meter. Once this is confirmed, then power up again, quickly feel the chips on left side just with one finger, other hand in the pocket.

Sometimes this fail. These are called Y-buffer driver chips on narrow strips of circuit boards. The larger board that plugs into the Y-buffer is Y-SUS board.

This is first thing we check for is voltage and inspect/feel the Y drive stuff.

i waz looking around the y board....and this is what i found...i think this is it...oil or greese around in the circle and if the smd cap dont really go bad well i took that into account...so if the 22uf 20v shooting all that stuff from the top..it could have gotton all in the circle were i see
this looks popped....like the seal has been blown out on the top.

if thats it ....so all i need how to order what size is the cap...and i can order.....now i need a smd cap allso....ill post...

                If you can't find a 22uF, 20Volt, a 22uF, 25 volt should work provided it will fit.

Use low esr 22uF 25V. Common sense.

Get a standard low ESR 220uF 16V radial and bend leads outwards and trim leads so it is not shorting anywhere else and solder it in.

                                        You're welcome.
By the way, when you're looking for a capacitor in the future, all you have to do is go to digikey.com or mouser.com and type what you need in the search box (you might have to apply some filters too, but play around with those a little to see what each one does - should be easy).

                                            Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

Hi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.

I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.

I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.

So, I generated a table with AI so I can...

Hi, Im trying to find the area on the chip that contains all of my laptops information, but I havent found it. The laptop won't turn on anymore. I was updating the BIOS, and it was supposed to reboot itself, but it wouldnt turn back on. I ve tried every possible solution, every alternative on Lenovo forums, everywhere; I ve taken it to technicians, and no one has been able to fix it. I've already read the chip that contains the BIOS (Winbond 25Q128JSVQ) and searched for my laptops data, but they're nowhere to be found. I only find scribbles and lines of text indicating errors. Has anyone had a...

Where to find a very small fpc connector 0.3mm between 2 pins ?

Hello, I search this connector (oxydated).
It's a fpc zif low profile connector. It come from camera sensor, it is very small : 0.3mm between 2 pins.
I ordered 2 from Aliexpress called « 0.3mm pitch » but one was 0.5mm between 2 pins and the other 0.6mm. In fact « 0.3mm pitch » seams to be the pad width and not the distance between 2 pins.
I can't find it. The other websites like mouser dont show the datasheet, and I can't check if it is 0.3mm between 2 pins ?

Do you know how to find this connector please ? What is the exact name for find it ?
