ENCONTRAR DATOS DMI EN EL CHIP BIOS IDEAPAD5 15ITL05 / FIND DMI DATA ON IDEAPAD5 15ITL05 BIOS CHIP

Hi, Im trying to find the area on the chip that contains all of my laptops information, but I havent found it. The laptop won't turn on anymore. I was updating the BIOS, and it was supposed to reboot itself, but it wouldnt turn back on. I ve tried every possible solution, every alternative on Lenovo forums, everywhere; I ve taken it to technicians, and no one has been able to fix it. I've already read the chip that contains the BIOS (Winbond 25Q128JSVQ) and searched for my laptops data, but they're nowhere to be found. I only find scribbles and lines of text indicating errors. Has anyone had a similar case? If so, where can I find the DMI information for my BIOS? Or if not, is there a way to reinject it into the chip?
Sorry about English, Im bad with the language.

Your laptop has its BIOS split into 2 chips, 8MB + 16MB, there's also a 8MB chip (maybe W25R64FV or similar), read this one too
DMi data is encrypted, find LENV with hex editor on 16MB chip, then copy both blocks
    It looks like this

As peste would say, you have everything you need at post # 14, that's the offsets you need to copy from your backup to the clean BIOS

You can use this tool to decrypt DMI info
    https://github.com/Shmurkio/LenovoDMIDecryptor/
    Usage: LENV.exe bios.bin -decrypt decrypted.bin

Please write in english, you can copy paste to Google translate, it's the forum rules here

Yes, it's supposed to look like that, that "0xBE" character which is repeated, it's the encryprion byte, it changes for every laptop even of the same model, what you call "scribbles"/"garabatos" copy all from 42E000 to 42FFFF including the "garabatos" and Paste write on the clean BIOS at the same offset (Pegar escribiendo, Ctrl-B), file size shouldn't change

I decrypted your LENV blocks with the tool linked above, someone flashed a different BIOS, model "Lenovo XiaoXinAir 15ITL 2021", it's a China model, type 82GM, S/N doesn't match yours, your original data including Windows key is lost forever, sorry

Also the serial you posted PF2L7LF2 belongs to a Thinkpad T14 Gen 1, check again

Only flash the W25Q64 and the W25Q128 with the BIOS from post 14 here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...tl05-bios-file

Or the BIOS from post 8, flash both 8MB and 16MB, W25Q64 and W25Q128 https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...62#post1757162

Should work, but will display INVALID serial number, model, and MTM, if you want you can copy the data from the 16MB BIOS on post 13, decrypt it, edit serial and MTM, encrypt again, flash it

Please review the structure and advise the correct sequence. I want to populate my BIOS with accurate data.
          Field Notes
          Manufacturer LENOVO
          Model Name IdeaPad 5 15ITL05
          Version SDK0J40697WIN
          Board Product NM-D211
          Alternate Board Product LNVNB161216
          Board Version Rev:1.0
          Board Serial 1499211800457.
          UUID XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX
          MTM 82FG00VELM
          Family IdeaPad
UUID obtained by scanning the motherboard barcode labeled as “UUID BARCODE.” All other fields sourced directly from the motherboard.

BIOS was previously flashed incorrectly by technicians using the wrong model. Unsure about proper order: should Board Serial go before S/N or vice versa?

If anyone has a correctly configured DMI, please share the exact structure or sequence. This will allow me to populate my BIOS accurately.

Try, I edited your info here, used post 13 from here as a template https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...50#post3659250

UUID i don't know where it is, you can use Golden Key also to fill S/N, MTM, Model and generate a new UUID

Highlighted changes in yellow, edited the 2 blocks

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
              by acedogblast
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

ASRock B650M PRO RS - BIOS CHIP 25Q256JW BLOCKED BY STATUS REGISTERS
              by DynaxSC
              Hi

I have a very strange issue with the BIOS SPI chip of an ASRock B650M PRO RS motherboard.
The SPI chip is an Winbond 25Q256JWEQ model (1V8).
The motherbaord doas not POST - it lits only CPU and DRAM EZ Debug Leds, and stays that way forever.
The Flashback function of the motherbaord is also not working, despite all instructions followed correctly - I'm 100% sure of this.

I have then desoldered the chip, backupped the contents, and tried to earease the chip in order to program stock image, but the chip is locked by status registers SREG2 (TB) and SREG6...

HP EliteDesk 800 G6 mini - BIOS Chip (GD25B127DSIG) replacement after epic fail :D
              by Berun
              Hello All,

I tried to read the the BIOs chip(GD25B127DSIG) on the mainbord of an HP EliteDesk 800 G6 mini, because the BIOs had an Admin Lock and I got the "HP Endpoint Security Problem" Screen at every startup which is not very useful when I want to use the PC as a Compute Unit for my home media system somewhere in the cellar, so it should perform a restart without any interactions.

I only have the CH341APro Programmer available and did the 3V hardware Mod on it before I tried to read the BIOS chip.

I read the Chip on board 8 times (with power...

Need help disassembling xx30 thinkpad battery BMS chip firmware
              by chonkyrabbit
              Hi there,
I need some help reverse engineering a BMS chip from a battery for an xx30 thinkpad. The Laptop uses a challenge-response type of system to verify if a battery is genuine:
The laptop writes four bytes to 0x3C and then reads 0x3C. The battery responds with "Lenovo JapanXXXX", with the Xs corresponding to four response bytes. For example "0xDC 0x42 0x5B 0x82" to BMS => "Lenovo Japan0x9F 0x76 0x97 0x2E" from BMS.

              What I know so far:
              • It's an 51F51 BMS chip based on the R2J24020F group. Karosium has already figured out how to dump
