Re: Samsung__UN75J6300_wont turn off or remote fuctions work
Maybe try a factory reset if no go maybe a firmware update if you have not yet, I'm guessing there's no button board on tv to try change channel or on off.Last edited by nomoresonys; 02-16-2020, 05:30 AM. -

by maxim2511My Oled Tv is 55inch tv, 3 days ago I notice that middle of the screen is getting warmer and on picture I have ghosting, missing red color. Color red was still displaying, but it was not so strong as corners of the screen and watching some movies makes me angry.
Then I get an idea to take it apart and clean boards from dust.
In side of Tv was not so bad, I take compressed air in can, and gently blow up.
Also I was thinking to styrofoam sponge to isolate power board from screen that the middle of the screen will not worm so much. Because Led on screen when gets higher... -
by edugimenoHi! I have this TV set that does the following:
1) I press the red power button on the remote
2) The TV turns on normally
3) After that it won't take any other command from the remote, neither power off, volume, channel, NOTHING
4) We need to either pull the main cable or use the built in button at the bottom to select funcion OFF
Then after it's off, it would again accept the TURN ON from the remote and same again
BUT:
-The remote does show the correct IR beam while observed thru a phone camera
-The TV works fine while using the MiRemote... -
by eccerr0rAnyone run memory speed tests with an old X58-based triple channel 1st gen or any other >2 channel board? The one I have is a Gigabyte I think.
Anyway I had four 4GB DDR3-1333 modules in the 6 memory slots and got around 11GB/sec memory speeds assuming that it went dual channel since it didn't have enough modules for triple channel. Now I stuck in two more 4GB modules, but they are DDR3-1600. I'm still getting 11GB/sec speeds according to memtest86...
Just wondering, anyone do memory speed analysis on these triple (and higher) channel memory boards? Are there any...-

by ChuperSo I got this TV with not turning on symptom.
Using my backlight tester I confirmed that LED backlight is fine. Ordered a replacement main board TP.MS3393.PB851. With this replacement board TV turned on but original remote control will not work on a TV and side buttons are mixed up(for example if I press "Source" TV will increase volume).
So I swapped Eeproms and confirmed that it is a problem on my original main board, meaning with my original main board and an Eeprom from replacement board I got TV to turn on with not working remote and mixed up side buttons and the replacement... -
by rustinjustMy tv will work for a while and change channels with the remote as it should but then it will stick on one channel only and work ok but it won't change channels. I have tried unplugging it for hours and whilst unplugged pressing the power button on the tv to reset it.
The volume button on the remote still works but it just won't change channels once it decides to stick on one channel
It has built in basic freeview tv here in the uk, I've tried doing an automatic search to reset the tv but nothing works.
I have to turn the tv off and then on again with... - Loading...
