55lm670t backligth and sound no picture

hi been a while got this set in wondered if anyone can help

the tv displays no picture other than left side blank right side with a bar that fades

tries disconnection both ribbon cables to panel and tv displays blank full screen
right side connected only displays lines that fade

left side connected only displays half white and lines that fade on right side

whats the intial diagnosis ?? hoping main board not panel

main board is eax64307906
this set has no tcon board

Can we see the pictures of what we are dealing with?
The T-CON may be integrated into the panel.

years before i got one under my hand 49LM640S do same fault and same look at LVDS remove test. first things i went to take the bezel cover and inspect the panel Tap. and it was effected by wet from cleaning the screen.. scraped

no water damage anywhere checked main tab bonds and driver boards
unless this has side driver tabs ??

the fade lines are few colors .. are u sure the panel TAP look good and there no shorted ceramic cap

in case yes then only BGA issue on MB

there is a couple of very small caps on driver board both sides when tested for continuity they are on there own every 3rd of the driver board
there make meter beep rapidly

please always do it with photo ... if one shorted it could cause other read as short. need to check the connection of them and this with clear photo do the job for you and here too

Use Ohm mode, not continuity mode to check resistance of the caps for low Ohm reading.
Can we see the pictures of the Tb bonding boards?

I cannot tell from the picture as to what you are pointing to.
That is tab bonding board, I can see some caps on the boards.

dont matter magnified board they are resistors

There should be lots of tan/light brown color caps on that Tab bonding board

the second picture showing the white on the unconnected side with the vertical bars on the other.... the white is "normal" response for a disconnected side in most cases. The vertical bars on the connected side is bad.

the third picture showing the "grey screen" which fades from left to right (ie getting darker), shows the now disconnected "bad" side which allows the tcon to somewhat function (ie. "uniformity")... was anything being input for this picture? You might get lucky if there are some form of side tabs along each side of the panel. Check them to see if they are discolored or any of them are hotter than others. Go from there.
