        Diah,

I do not understand your observation from the photo I provided of the Service Menu settings.

You state "some one played and edit 7 Options Value."

Are you indicating there is an incorrect setting on one of Service Menu settings?

        Could you please clarify? Thanks.

        Jim

OP, what ever you do in that service menu, make sure to write down the numbers before making any changes.

because there are no standard definition of words and code used by SM on all brands. its difficult and risky too to play at SM. user can change only some function if being blocked from brand company such PVR time shift. smart 3D, or DTS etc. other values of certain Options could let the set never wake up again after restart.

i advice you just search under Option like advanced or expert any of Reset Option first. to delete profile setting. and reload driver to factory state. any option you see that unclear to you just upload here photo of it.. may other member can understand it and help. to me i am hater of Samsung SM.

Also not as difficult as some make it, nothing is likely to magically change in service menu all by itself, if the history of tv is unknown then who knows what's been done to it, anyway here's that setting simply explained, just follow instructions AND do as Bud said and make note/write down setting before messing with it. Maybe you should watch it 5 times before starting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-aXKCTiU6I

A big thanks to everyone who contributed thoughts on my solorization issue!

I am especially grate full for those of you that helped me understand the relationship of the Gama test points readings and what reading make for a good T-con board and what reading make for a bad T-con board.

Talking of replacing boards - I always repair and replace AS15 / AS19 chips because my theory is at least you know its 100% working with no compatibility issues.

for those that cant replace the chips there are services on ebay for TCON repair here in the UK so imagine other countries have people offering similar services.

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
                      by Asraf Atb
                      Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
                      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                      Assuming...

Upgrading a Samsung ue55nu7096u with logic board from an ue55ru7105k -- good idea?
                      by ohren
I hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.

I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.

The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively....

Samsung Series 9 - BIOS issue
                      by Kjell
After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...
