Talking of replacing boards - I always repair and replace AS15 / AS19 chips because my theory is at least you know its 100% working with no compatibility issues.
for those that cant replace the chips there are services on ebay for TCON repair here in the UK so imagine other countries have people offering similar services.

I always repair my boards rather than replace because you then know its 100% compatible.

Hi All
Been a long time since i had a plasma and just my luck one iv never seen before
PS50B850Y1W Just clicking
Va and VS come up briefly while its constantly clicking
I have tried disconnecting YSUS then XSUS but still the same
Both Y board and X board do not have short to ground on either VA or VS
On the powerboard and i noticed it had some damage to the fan wire(been cut), not trusting this board iv tried a replacment but its still the same.
Can anyone help me with jumping the power supply... -

tx-p50x50b power board B159-201 4H.B1590.041/E1 compatible parts
Hi All
Got a tx-p50x50b and been shafted as once i got the board out i found the FAN6755UW covered in bird poo solder !
Once i cleaned it all off i found almost all the pads missing and some SMD capacitors missing as well !
Long story short board is toast and i need a new one.
Does any one know if the board from a tx-p50x60b 4H.B1590.081 /D B159-205 will work ? these are more readily available and cheaper ? -

Hi That looks like an AS15 fault iv had to sort loads of them over the years, remove the TCON and replcae the AS15 chip or if you cant swap it out search for an AS15 repair service on ebayLeave a comment:

Yes very common fault AS15 chip most likely gone
You can either replace yourself if you have the right equipment and skill level
