After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).
Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically disconnecting the CMOS battery and using "SFlash64 /cvar /patch".
Since none of those things solved it, i wanted to try updating/reflashing the BIOS. However, since the laptop is already running the latest BIOS version, the "Samsung BIOS Update" tool simply exits. And when trying to flash the BIOS using SFlash64 i got the following message:
Any help in solving this issue would be much appreciated!
