Replace Backlight 6V LED with a resistor, diode or jumperwire

Can i replace my TV Backlight led 6v with a resistor, diode or jumperwire or 2 3V led in parallel?

if yes what kind of values do i need to know and calculate?

Yes i know, I might get a dark spot on my tv.

6v 1000pc leds got lost during shippment another week for the next shipment. Tv is mine, i need it of the bench.

You need to use diodes in series so the Vf will be about 6V, The vdrops of the resistor will always change with the amount of current flow through the LED string. The current value is set by the BACKLIGHTS level so if you know that you are not going to change the backlights level then you can measure the current through the LED string then you can calculate the value of the resistor based on known current and the Vdrops (which is about 6V); you can also calculate the Wattage of the resistor and multiply that by 2 for safety margin.

For just one LED bypass it with jumperwire.
Or better to avoid dark spot with 3V led,same package,same current.
+ or - 6V or 3V in second case will not trigger over or under voltage protection.
And so current will be the same as initial even is just by example 33 OK leds or just 32 leds OK and one shorted by jumper or 32 leds at 6V and one at 3V

This may be fine for one or two or even three leds but as number increase over/under voltage (depends for driver IC) may trigger and result is no backlight.

For those who disapprove that,just try this,short one led and see result while measuring stripe current,driver will adapt and current will be the same value.

sorry but you are wrong
shorting one led will trigger shutdown in most cases
Panasonic edge lit , one diode led shorted all others ok , TV shuts down
They measure voltage for the shutdown
But to the OP short out the led turn on TV without panel attached and see
