Need a little help on this one. just replaced 4- 2200 caps. tv turns on now with a great pic and sound. only problem is that picture blinks steady off and on, off then on. constantly. any help would be great. thanks

You are kidding, right? This old TV does not use LED for backlights, it uses CCFL.

Replaced 4 bad caps that were swollen, and the ones next to them that were not, crap ton of bad solder joints on power supply.Comment

(I connect it to USB power)
PMU U8100 is rising all voltages except PP3V3_S2 . Consequently, the SYS_ALIVE is also absent.
I have two identical boards with the same symptoms, and I think this is a common problem.
I also have a working board. I've taken all the measurements to compare and haven't seen any abnormalities. There are no signs of a short circuit or water damage.
VREF, IREF are also present.
I also couldn't find any PP3V3_S2 enable signals.
Please help me and suggest... -

by lfhlawI was able to get a Hisense 43H4030f3 43" TV for free, however, after it has been on for about 40 minutes or so, the audio will start to flip between Earphone and TV speaker mode most likely indicating a failure of a switch, or the audio sensing chip.
I'm just curious at this point, whether it's better to just replace the main board -- at least that's my inclination.
Looking at the main board, I do not see any blown capacitors.
I uploaded a pic of the main board, and a short 22 second clip which shows the issue.... -

I’ve got a stubborn patient here. The laptop powers on and works, all components like the screen, keyboard, touchpad, etc. are functional. The issue is that it heats up very quickly under load (within a few minutes up to 95°C) and then shuts down shortly after. Subsequent attempts to turn it back on right after a “hot shutdown” result in it shutting off within a few seconds. Interestingly, if I enter the BIOS, it can stay there for 2 days without shutting down (most likely due to low CPU load and low temperatures).
