Inexive (Vestel) TV constantly blinking after plugging in

Hello everyone, I have a constantly blinking Inexive LED TV.
    Display is: VES390UNVA-2D-N01
    Mainboard: 17MB97
    PSU: 17IPS71

The TV power led start blinking constantly right after plugging it in, I tried to update via USB but did not help.

I did some measurements on the PSU and C20 and the other two 400V filter caps has only 320V total.
Also there is a rithmical clicking noise from the PSU, like it tries to turn on.
I checked on PWM IC FAN6300A and VDD is only 5V, and HV goes from 0 to around 175V following the ticking noise pattern.

Check for bad solder joints on bottom of powerboard.

        I already did with microscope.

I measure the connector on the PSU:

Unhook powerboard from mainboard and retest standby, need standby or tv will not work. Post at least some good clear pictures of the powerboard, front and back.

I rechecked the connector voltages and I get the same results. Negative probe on the ground pins of the connector.
I measure 520nf capacity for the cap and It has 25V when I plug in the PSU and slowly rising to 29V.

This what I measre on the FAN6300 IC VDD and HV pin - negative probe on the filter cap's negative leg.

Is that a typo, 520nf is a lot different than 520uf. one uf equals 1000nf.

Yes, it's a typo. Also, I removed the cap from the board and I measure 504uF on it. I ordered a replacement for it, hope that will be the culprit.

Found something weird, based on the schematic R1 should be 4.7Mohm while I measure 7.9Mohm on it removed from the circuit.

I replaced the cap with a new one, capacity is 560, low-ESR.

Same symptom, 5V in missing. only 12v and 3.3v PWM.

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
                                by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

Polaroid P43D300 (vestel 17MB97) issues (bluetooth & various sw bugs)
                                by snimmits
                                Good afternoon,

                                I have a Polaroid P43D300.
It shipped with WiFi and Bluetooth.

Two weeks ago, I ran through the first time installation.
This did a full reset and went through the first time setup.

Once complete, I went to settings > sound.
selected Audio Link, changed setting from disabled to enabled, pressed green button on remote and the tv does a search (discovery) for Bluetooth devices.

search completes and doesn't find any devices.

I have tried everything I can think of.

                                Can someone provide...

                                Aya A39FHD3901/2 - Vestel 17MB82 mainboard - LED blinking
                                by KevinWysocki
                                Hi there,

My mother in law gave me an Aya TV, to take a look if I could do something to repair it.

At startup, LED constantly blinks and no image is shown (even if I light the screen, broken backlight is not the problem), also +12V power rail is fine.

After some research, it seems that NOR flash often fails on this mainboard, I have found the procedure to force flash upgrading with a USB key connected to mainboard USB port, pressing "OK" button on the remote and plugging the TV power cord.

Flash upgrade didn't seem to work,...

                                Dear forum,

I'm stuck with this old TV unit.
                                PSU: 17PW04-1
                                MB: 17MB62-1
                                Symptoms:
                                - Blue LED constantly blinking when connected to AC.
                                - Only sigh of life is beeping when touching the capactive buttons on the front.

                                Diagnostics so far:
                                Checked the PSU output voltages:
                                12V present
5V present altought its only around 4.2V
                                3V is present measured 3.4V.

I check TP 202 which is for the short circuit protection: 0.606V on diode mode

Since I met with some vestel models before with similiar symptoms...

Hello everyone from Italy, I'm here to ask for help on a Vestel TV, I've had a Vestel TV branded "XD" with a broken screen for years, but now I've found a Telefunken (still Vestel but older) and I've mounted the panel on the "XD" TV, it works, but the screen is upside down, given that Vestel does not allow you to rotate the image from the service menu, does anyone know how to solve the problem? the original panel is marked ves315WNDS-2D-N12 while the main board 17mb110, the panel I mounted instead in the tv (from the telefunken) is a ves315WNDA-02. ... It is not worth repairing...
