LG 55LW5600 Solarized Picture T-Con Board?

Anyone know how to initiate IN-STOP on this TV? Wanted to restore all factory defaults before I make any further progression on this TV. I've done the audio file method but only was able to initiate EZ-ADJ and IN-START.

Before doing anything like that I think you should open this puppy up and take some voltage measurements on the T-CON Bd. they are the Vgma voltages.

After measuring voltages I powered up the TV and now there's just vertical lines all across the panel.

Did you short out any thing? All the cables back in correctly? I think those readings are good, though. Anybody wants to concur on this?

They don't look right to me, but give me a minute and i'll stick them in that spreadsheet to confirm.

Here's a picture of the lines present on the display. T-con board still shows the same voltages as what were previously measured. Didn't slip with my probes or see sparks/smoke. Stumped on how this has happened.

I re-seated all the video ribbon cables lines still present. Absolutely no picture is displaying. I was extremely careful measuring the voltages. Never know though I could have caused a short somehow. Since the problem is now worse than it was it had to be my touch. lol

I'm thinking my panel is shot. I do have a cracked panel from another 55LW5600 I parted out would it be wise for me to see if that panel displays the lines as well? There was enough picture on the right side of the screen that I believe it can help me rule out if the panel is messed up.

That other panel wasn't stored in a safe place and has no picture at all now. Guess I'll order the t-con board and cross my fingers.

Thank you for the Help Andrew and Diif! Will post back when I get the t-con board replaced! Also have another TV with power supply issue. Will post a new thread for that one.

Did you try disconnecting one side of the panel at a time ?

I tried that. Just got the new t-con board and the lines are still present.

I get nothing with either side disconnected.

It's a bit of a complexity I seem to get different results with only one ribbon cable in. Sometimes right side of screen is white, sometimes the entire screen is just dark. Sometimes there's lines but they are very faded. There's no picture at all though.

Edit: I didn't notice at first but with only the right side connected the left side of screen is a bit brighter than the right side.

well that's quite a bit different than "I get nothing with either side disconnected." You would be wise to post some pictures of what you are actually seeing with various cable disconnect scenarios to remove any "misunderstanding". Ensure that you are feeding a good signal along with also trying different menu screens to see show as much about what is happening on the screen. My guess would be an SMD capacitor on the bottom edge board might be bad.... but that's going on very little. Where did you get your tcon from? what's history on the set that caused the first post (ie. solarization).
