65" Model of this TV exactly the same problem. 0 volts with BL's disconnected. Power supply is fine. As dskall mentioned if you haven't progressed from this last message, it's faulty backlights....

Sorry I had to take a break and do tons of house work. I got back to the TV. On the LED drive board I used Ohm to test the fuses.
On the t-con board I tested voltage with one probe on chassis I get 12.56v on each side of every fuse. Before the red light sequence.Leave a comment:

I checked the fuse on the LED board meter reads 000.1

Maybe we can start where OP left off? I came across this same TV with 5 blinks as well.
Checked t-con board fuses and they are okay. Checked voltages on the PSU and During power on phase before the LED blinks all voltages are normal, except for backlights only shows 1.5v during power on phase, and then it drops to 0v with and without the LED driver board connected.
Did a reflow on the mainboard. Thinking it's a power supply issue. Any other assistance would be grateful!...Leave a comment:

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't get a remote for this TV so ordered one last night on eBay. Seems the power button doesn't do anything at all. TV just comes on automatically when cord is plugged in.Leave a comment:

Got the TV this way with no information regarding why this issue occurred. Shows Haier screen and then just cycles continuously through red green blue black and white. -

I found another 55LW5600 model TV and bought it for $60. Stand by came on but no backlights or picture. I threw the mainboard from the other TV in it and got backlights, sound, and solarized picture just as the first TV was doing....Leave a comment:

Don't want to leave this thread on a cliff hanger.... I was unable to find any bad caps on the panel PCB's. Guess somewhere I really messed up and destroyed the panel somehow. I let that other TV slip away from me but will keep my parts and maybe come across another same model TV so I can get one working. That is how I received the TV in the first photo no history report before that. I was measuring the voltages on the t-con board when the TV got vertical lines across it not sure what I done for that to have happened. With new t-con board (purchased from an eBay seller) the lines still persist in the same way as the old one. Pressing menu on the remote or anything has no affect the lines are in a solid state and do not move or change colors when pressing anything on the remote control. It's a bit of a complexity I seem to get different results with only one ribbon cable in. Sometimes right side of screen is white, sometimes the entire screen is just dark. Sometimes there's lines but they are very faded. There's no picture at all though.
