Re: Mangavox 50ME314V/F7 "Funai junk"
As follows
ALL 3.3V = 3.27v
PON-H2 = 1.069v
PON21V = 21.24v
PROTECT3 = .163
BL-SW (BL-ON)= .001

So with all the boards connected, what DCV do you have on these jumpers?
ALL 3.3V =
PON-H2 =
PON21V =
PROTECT3 =
BL-SW (BL-ON) =Leave a comment:

Re: Mangavox 50ME314V/F7 "Funai junk"
yeah... when the main board is disconnected from the psu, there should be then only the stby voltage available from the PSU, nothing else. I can't see any FL chassis number on these pics. I know, I've uploaded a service manual for a 50me313v/f7, which is a previous model, on here some where. I wonder if the pinout on the PSU would be the same or not? I know the PSU looks different, but may be worth a shot.Leave a comment:

I do not need the LCD panel sticker.
So is there chassis number on the model sticker? I.E. FL?????
Can we see the picture of model number sticker?

Re: Mangavox 50ME314V/F7 "Funai junk"
Well here is a kicker... With main disconnected i cannot find any voltages worth recording.
However with main connected i have red led on at ir board and have all voltages come up except none on led output side of power board.
amp13+V is 12.22 v and does not change with main connected and power button presses or remote has no effect.
with main disconnected nothing worth recording.Leave a comment:

Re: Mangavox 50ME314V/F7 "Funai junk"
Look at those jumpers close to the black connector that goes to the main board, you will see printing such as: ALL 3.3V, PONH2, AMP+13V (about 8V in standby), PON21V (about 12V in standby), PROTECT3, BL-SW (BL-ON), BL-ADJ (DIMMING), ADIM3 (DIMING), OVP3, UVLO3, VLED3, LED+40V, etc.
Also look at the bottom side of the board.
There are two white stickers that I cannot read the printing on them, please tell me what they are.
The blank PCB is P/N BA4GU5F01 02.
Is there chassis number printed on the model number sticker on the back of the TV?Leave a comment:

Re: Mangavox 50ME314V/F7 "Funai junk"
With the main board unhooked from the PSU, put PSON and BLon through a 1k resistor to STBY voltage. Plug the PSU in and all the power rails shall be on and the backlight too.Leave a comment:

Any more tests i can do to confirm that is all? How do you force the power supply on this thing?Leave a comment:

Re: Mangavox 50ME314V/F7 "Funai junk"
That is not enough voltage to turn the PSU on. So I think you need a new main board.Leave a comment:

Does the PSU make STBY power?see if the main board sends PSON and BLon...Leave a comment:

Mangavox 50ME314V/F7 "Funai junk"
Alright guys this tv is totally yuck. Anyways it won't turn on or do anything. power supply seems to be working but hard to test anything this thing uses jump bridges as test points. Where the hell do i begin on this nasty tv lol.
It has standby and other voltages and is not sending voltages to led. Main appears not to respond at all to power button presses. Pics coming soonTags: None

by csmithThis set won't power up with alternating green and red power light.
Forced chassis on all voltages are correct except all 6V. It measures 28v.
on cathode of D661. Anode measures 6v. Mainboard is BA94F0102 4_a.
Schematic I'm using LC320MEM9 which is not close enough. Any suggestions
from the Funai experts. Thanks!01-25-2023, 03:39 PM -
by JDCIssue: Funai FW55D25F - High Pitched Squeal Upon Power-on.
Solution: Replace C3208 and C3209 on main board. These are surface mounted capacitors. Values unknown so I just used same physical size capacitors from a donor board. -
by Michale32086I have Sanyo 55" TV that randomly shuts off..
Sometimes it will stay on for 5mins or so, sometimes it shuts off after a min or two...
When it DOES stay on, it works fine...
All things being equal, would it be more likely a POWER Board issue or a MAIN Board issue???
Thanx in advance...... -
