Re: Sharp LC-60EQ10U - powers on but no glow
Thanks, the LED sequence flashing in my case, 3-1, points to the main board according to the SM. I ordered one. Will cost 100$ to find out !! . I'll keep you posted.
The problem with EBay, often those supposedly good board are not. They've been sold and returned many times.Last edited by andytv; 09-27-2017, 05:02 PM.Comment

Re: Sharp LC-60EQ10U - powers on but no glow
Got the board yesterday from Kelowna Digitronics. Put it in and happy to see my problem solved. 96$ US and a very happy uncle. He paid 1800$ for this Sharp TV and it went dead after 2 yrs and 1 month. Costco/Sharp didn't want to honour the warranty since it was 1 month past due. Just hope that this panel will last more than 2 yrs.Comment

Re: Sharp LC-60EQ10U - powers on but no glow
I just got a Sharp LC-60SQ15U given to me about a week ago and I am having the EXACT same problem! Flashing code 3-1, unpluged one ribben from T-con board and get snow in the right hand side and lines on the left hand side. I will spend $100 on a T-con board for a free TV.

by malogroHello all,
I'm stumped on this guy, so wanted to see if anyone has any further ideas:
Intro:
This is an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-55M1 with unknown prior history (bought "as-is" on eBay). It charges the battery and powers on from both AC adapter and battery, so I think this rules out main power issues.
Upon attempt to boot, it will "reboot" (meaning powers down and then powers on again) only once, and then stays stuck in a status of lights on / no post / no monitor. Powering on with fn+esc maxes out the fans on first boot attempt,... -
by sefosterI have a Sharp Aquos LC-80LE757U that randomly made a loud popping noise when when watching TV one day. We found that the fuse blew and the thermistor. We ended up replacing the entire power supply board and have also replaced the TCON board. Now as soon as I plug the TV in it lights up and has the Sharp logo flashing on and off of the screen. If I unplug the ribbon cable from the TCON board to the main board I get the 2 long 5 short error code. Any ideas on where to go from here? We've tried resetting it but nothing has worked. If we plug it in and let it cycle through the flashing of the Sharp...

Hello, I'm new to this forum. I like to tinker with Sony electronics, I have been lucky trouble shooting sony stuff, But I can't find much info on this Sharp TV.
The problem; plug to power>white led power indicator light is on>it turns on to the red Sharp logo>
then the android logo is displayed, lit fine then the android logo brightness varies, then lit normal, then the tv restarts and does the same startup logos over and over for 5 times then it turns off and the power indicator light flashes the trouble code 3 long blinks plus 3 short blinks .

by Superbee_dadHello Sharp TV experts
Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.
> I checked voltages on the power supply board and they all check out .. including 3.28 volts at the error pin.
