Re: LG 55LA6200 Back light strips
Thanks nomoresonys and neilc6.
Yes, did install one old working strip in the center along with new strips, no halo from the old but all new produce Halo. Did tried to use two old lenses on the new strips but wasn't a success. Tried to keep the .019 gap, no halo but instead a bright spot like if lenses had fallen. I guess it is hard to perfectly centre the lens over the LED and I don't see myself going through this 84 times. This morning got a hold of ShopJimmy, right now they just received new strips, they were BO and they do have black...

Re: LG 55LA6200 Back light strips
Hi to all,
This thread is 3 yrs.old but having the same issue. WRX884 did you ever found a solution??
My situation, LG 55LA6205, a 3D TV. Was having issue with LED. Three weeks ago I bought a set of strip from EBay. The original strips are SH S1 94V N 1306 LG INNOTEK POLA2.0 55" R TYPE REC 0.1 2012 10 18 while the replacement are the same except for being N 1301 WYT, I assume that WYT is the manufacturer.
Once installed all LED are bleeding through the screen, halo effect (same as photo from WRT) that is easily noticeable...

Re: Sharp LC-60EQ10U - powers on but no glow
Try to get the service manual. A 3-1 flash on my LC-60EQ10U pointed towards a defective Main board not T-con. Yours is a diff. model so not sure if it is also the Main Board.Re: Sharp LC-60EQ10U - powers on but no glow

Re: Sharp LC-60EQ10U - powers on but no glow
Got the board yesterday from Kelowna Digitronics. Put it in and happy to see my problem solved. 96$ US and a very happy uncle. He paid 1800$ for this Sharp TV and it went dead after 2 yrs and 1 month. Costco/Sharp didn't want to honour the warranty since it was 1 month past due. Just hope that this panel will last more than 2 yrs....Last edited by andytv; 09-27-2017, 05:02 PM.

Re: Sharp LC-60EQ10U - powers on but no glow
Thanks, the LED sequence flashing in my case, 3-1, points to the main board according to the SM. I ordered one. Will cost 100$ to find out !! . I'll keep you posted.
The problem with EBay, often those supposedly good board are not. They've been sold and returned many times....Last edited by andytv; 09-20-2017, 10:38 AM.

Re: RCA RLED4010A Reverse video question
I've looked just about everywhere to find a board with the same firmware number. Two numbers need to be the same, in my case, a LTA#### that correspond to the LED panel number (Samsung) and a A##### number that correspond, I think, to the firmware. Shopjimmy.com has hundreds of those eeprom listed but only one has the correct LTA## number but a different A## number.
This is Canadian TV that was sold by Canadian Tire. Similar models were sold in the States under the name of Sceptre and Westinghouse. None of these...

Re: RCA RLED4010A Reverse video question
I've googled just about everything from the TV, model #, board #, LED panel #. firmware, etc. you name it, I've googled it.
Did checked pin 6 of the LED panel connector, open or grounded, it doesn't change anything....

Re: RCA RLED4010A Reverse video question
I was in the service menu, no mirror option in there. Not familiar with LVDS signal. I'll check pin 6 to see if it is ground or NC and do the reverse. Pin 45 is LVDS option, not sure what the option is !!!. Google wasn't any help in finding a way to reverse the video, only found the diagram that I've included in the thread. TV belongs to a friend and he was using the stand, no wall mount. I did suggested to mount it upside down, RCA logo will be reverse but it will make a great piece of conversation...

RCA RLED4010A Reverse video question
Hi,
TV wouldn't power on. Power LED would go from red to blue but no video/sound. Info. found in this forum pointed to a defective Main Board T.RSC8 12305.
Original board with LTA400HM24 firmware chip on it couldn't be found. Purchased a T.RSC8 12305 with a different firmware. Ended up with low LED brightness and a reverse video (picture is upside down). Did switched the U16 eeprom chip and got brightness and video back to normal.
After a few weeks of testing, the problem came back. Went back to the original board with eeprom from the purchase one. Has been three weeks...

Re: Question for Budm (and everyone else) for fsp212-3f01 Power Supply
My old ... Viewsonic now working like a new one. Capacitors and replacement of Q7 and the zener diode solved the problem. Also had a problem with "leaking" color from the screen, (top left), similar to someone dragging their fingers on a fresh coat of paint. Problem also corrected, I guess problem was caused by the defective caps. Many thanks to this forum and specially to Budm, help greatly appreciated.Re: Question for Budm (and everyone else) for fsp212-3f01 Power Supply

Re: Question for Budm (and everyone else) for fsp212-3f01 Power Supply
Hi, Just join the forum, great info. Glad I could found info. for my Viewsonic PS. Already replace the cap. and found (thanks to this thread) that in fact Q7 and the ZD4 are shorted out. I will replace Q7 with a 2N2222a but need confirmation on the Zener, 15V 1/2W zener ?????
Thanks.
