It does look as though it's stuck in test mode as already suggested so it may well be worth doing a factory reset.
If the following link doesn't reset the set then I suggest google it or search Youtube where there should be plenty of information.
The connections look fine and the fact that you have a picture is a plus.

        http://factory-reset.com/wiki/Sony_Service_Menu

Or a firmware update available from the Sony website
        https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/s...807c#downloads

The page also gives details on how to do a soft reset.

          Re: Sony KDL-43W807C

I have tried soft reset a few time now but display always returns to test cards!!
Have tried to do a factory reset several times now but TV will not go into it doesn't matter how many times I press the buttons on the remote.
I will google it some more today to see if I can find some more info on this fault ?
But if any one has any idea's in the mean time it would be most appreciated.

            Hi All
I found this info while googling the Sony forums !
The info said how to exit the test pattern mode on KDL-40W4000 .
The info said use the TV keypad not the remote it says press
ch+then ch- then ch+then ch- then power button all with in 5 seconds wait to you hear relay click then switch TV back on. You may need to do it a couple of times for it to work plus this set does not have a relay due to TV uses a power pack.
Now I have tried this loads of times but no success so I have tried searching to see if their is a similar procedure for my model KDL-43W807C but I cant find any info!!
Was wandering if any one else on here has any knowledge of this procedure for my model or a link that contains this info for the KDL-43W807C any info would be much appreciated.

Hi,as the voice is on,most probably the main board is ok,so the test mode is generated by the T-con;maybe the 2 T-con are affected with the same issue;try to connect another TV
at the outputs of this one.if you get image and sound on the second TV the chances of a good main are increased.

Did you ever resolve this issue and did your replacement screen arrive as ordered?
I'm interested in placing an order with the supplier but worried about the method of payment for which there is no protection should they fail to deliver.

If it's over £100 and under £30,000, you're covered if you purchase it by credit card.

I include part of their reply when I requested a price for a replacement panel.

I believe that there is no recourse if anything goes wrong using Western Union and I know nothing about SEPA banking transfer so would be interested in hearing how it went for Ron.

For LCD panels, LED and plasma and 'can only forward orders through SEPA Banking transfer.

As an alternative to bank transfer, it is possible to use the Western Union service in all countries of the world, see the website: www.westernunion.com

What is a soft reset? Supposing there's a mem location that actives test pattern, and normaly it is made by a service menu option, you can reset all eeprom on mainboard, search on it the bigger one then locate pins 5,6, unplug the AC cord, put a paper clip or tiny screwdriver between 5,6, plug the cord, wait 10 seconds, then release, now power up the tv and hope, if method doesn't work it exist a 2 resistor interface schematic to program/erase the eeprom by a pc with rs232, or the easy way is to buy a new eeprom and replace it.
